Ok, so I wish that bethesda would hurry up and release the creation kit. I mean seriously everybody is ready for it, well at least I am, so I hope it gets released in the next few days.

so, are you guys ready for the creation kit? and when do you think it will be released? :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

There is still speculation that the CK may not be released by the end of the month given a vaguely worded post by Gstaff on the Bethesda forums:

We really appreciate the feedback from our Steam Beta. We anticipate the 1.4 update going live next week for all on the PC and being sent to the console manufacturers. The Creation Kit won’t be far behind.

There's only a few days left to see what happens so no need to worry just yet.

I bet that a bunch of new modders will fall of the wagon as soon as they launch it. After reading a lot of posts, some people think that the CK will magically give them knowledge and that making mods will be a cakewalk for people who are new to this. granted, it will be easier than modifying hexadecimals to place objects. But things will not construct themselves because you told the program to make "the most awsome mod ever". My anticipation have not been high towards the CK, mostly because i know the tool will not give me inhuman strength and powers to control the world.

Im not trying sound rude, just my impression when i see all of these posts. I know i will probably spend hours just getting used to hotbuttons, UI and where things are. At least not magically place new cells and objects with no troubleshooting, just *swish* "Hey look at my new mod lololol"

personally, i have not even touched the G.E.C.K last mod i made was back in oblivion like 2 years ago. So i expect some frustration through trial and error.

Sorry, but some of the people in threads like these are getting overhyped and some even angry, it's not good, if you have no experience with this kind program, you're gonna be disapointed and the low morale followed by this will cause the learning curve to become very steep.

If you do have experience with these programs..well then you know what you are walking into, even if this one might be different than the others, it will be more familiar to you than a freshman/woman.

So then my question is, why get hyped over it? We can already do so much without it. :)

I'm super hyped. Can't wait.

And well, bethesda said they were making a new wiki with film clips showing people how to do it.

If home made video tutorials can teach me to use blender (and I'm really dense...), then I think bethesda has the professional capacity to make a series of videos explaining how to do the most basic stuff.
