AmHelicoptr
So, I recently got into Fallout 4 after playing Fallout 3 like 30 times through. I have come to understand this is the game where mods are legitimately encouraged. I am looking to find some very well done mods that won't overload my entire system. (I.E I don't want Graphical Mods... yet.) I have seen quite a few already, but I am looking for the communities opinion. Thanks.
Gruffydd
You need to be more specific, I think. There are some that add ease of play or fix bugs that many, many people use. Beyond those, though, it all depends on what kind of game you're wanting to play. For example, someone whose focus is unique and interesting weapons is going to have a very different list from someone whose focus is settlements. Athanasa
What Gruffydd said. Also, some off the graphical mods actually reduce system strain by fixing broken / ridiculous texture sizes in the vanilla game.
AmHelicoptr
This will be my first play through of Fallout 4, But to specify, I suppose I'm looking for some OP weapons to ease myself in until I begin to get how it works?
dark47
Oh man! Over-powered weapons aren't any fun - might as well TGM then. He, he. I do understand what you mean, though. But really, don't let it scare you, just get in there and take your whipping like a man. (Evil Grin)Ok, ok. I use the AK74M mod. It's not really over-powered, but kicks butt. Come to think about it, if you spawn it early in the game, it may be considered a bit over-powered. Give t a try.

But what if I die 12 times in the process of trying to beat one friggin enemy? I do suppose I'll give the AK47M mod a try. Where can I find it? BlahBlahDEEBlahBlah
Okay. But what if I die 12 times in the process of trying to beat one friggin enemy? As much as many people want to say Fallout 4 has been shooter'rized, rarely (ever? ) is there a time when you can't either go around said enemy, come back later being much better equipped, or just ignore it completely....in other words 'open world RPG it'. ;-)

And okay. Sorry, just meant that if yah die 12 times, try a different tactic. =)(Fallout 4 being more shooter'y is just a common grip about this game, so I got off track a little, heh) On a serious note (and to actually make use of myself in the thread), the Easy setting does pretty well. The fact that you can change from any difficulty and then back at any given moment, I think, is pretty much all most people would need to "ease" into the game. =)
dark47
Yup, 'Easy' always seems to work but if the enemy has a skull after his name, you probably ought to run anyway. Sorry, almost forgot. AK74M is a file here on Nexus.
