nosisab
Was the patch released today? I can't see it anywhere Edit: Disregard, I messed everything and forced Steam back to Beta (although noticing Skyrim was not there anymore). I expected the patch receiving a new version number at least to tell people it was not beta anymore. Still I can't see where is the famous workshop integration. HerrBaron
External editor and compiler support would be most cool! :)
DefiniteIntegral
My main hope is that Papyrus has some decent container types. Even just a simple list type would be sufficient. Arrays are OK but lists are more convenient. Or, even more basic than that, allowing custom data types, even if it's just structs. I can live without classes. The screenshot only shows standard types like floats and game-specific objects though... I long for the return of the Quake2 days when mods were native DLLs. Risky to be sure, but damn awesome at the same time....
TheElderInfinity
Hmmm, so creation kit next week? Since Bethesda is an American company, I kinda doubt they'll be working this weekend. (I don't think they even work weekends to begin with) Or Monday, since companies don't want to deal with a third of their employees being hung over. Office companies don't usally work on weekends. Video Game companies tend to be an exception to this when they are in crunch mode.I doubt bethesda is in crunch mode over the CK (Sad Panda). Particularly since its the Superbowl weekend. Now that might not seem like a big deal to you if you're not an (American) football fan, but to (American) football fans, its massive, and even if your preferred team isn't involved or if you're not a big sports fan, its a big social event for some people. That plus the lack of pressure of Bethesda makes me think that it'll release tomorrow if its going to release this week at all. (I'm pretty sure they'd have to have someone in the office to "push the button" right?) Though I suppose if they finish up all the work on Friday but thought it was too late to release it that day for whatever reason, it might come on Saturday. TheElderInfinity
I wouldn't, since that would entail going in to work on a Saturday for an hour when everyone else is at home to confirm the release of the Creation Kit, particularly if its at like 5 am. Since you've obviously got another software related job at the office, and you're probably only getting like an hour's wage (albeit at Saturday rates) for the "Push the Button Job." Then again, if you have to go in at like 12, work for an hour, then come home, I'd be all game.
