SoberBarn
What's wrong with that? Seems like good news to me. Its better than it being "another few weeks" like most people keep saying for whatever reason.
TheElderInfinity
Because first it was "Some time in January" which solidified to "The End of January", which is now "Some time in February"
danshive
Yeah, but before, the 1.4 patch wasn't out. It wouldn't surprise me if it's late in the week or delayed for some reason, but for now, I'm going to chillax and give them the benefit of the doubt. Not much else to do, really. KarthGalin
Am I the only person that noticed (or interpreted that video to indicate) automatic updates to Steam Workshop mods? That's going to be funny to watch. Edited February 2, 2012 by Karth Galin
Ghogiel
That's what it said, automatically updates your mods to the latest version. it's bound to cause some issues at some point if there isn't a tick box to turn it off.
GisleAune
What if a mod including a player-owned container object is auto-updated? Wouldn't that mean the content of it is lost?
TheElderInfinity
Yep. And if a modder rage quits, God help whoever downloaded his mod on steam works.
Cipscis
I hope the scripts for XP gain and item value are editable. .Why do you assume they're controlled by Papyrus? A lot of core features, like skill gain and the pricing of generated items (not to mention that generation itself) are handled directly by the engine. Sometimes we can tweak these features, but if you want to re-write them completely you'll need a pretty big workaround. That said, if a feature is controlled by Papyrus then it would be very easy to make large changes to it. Cipscis
