Deleted43573962User
Hello all. I'm coming back to Morrowind after playing it when it first came out, taking over this name with their permission, and their oblivion mod. So, I have the GOG version with mods already installed. I need to know the basic mods to install like MWSE and MGE. I have two installs laptop(slow builtin ) and tower gaming system. I need to know of any conflicts. Also, I need a good spell and potion sorter. Morrowing overhaul is great, but has a few things I don't like. It's too fast for my slow laptop. Need help. Deleted43573962User
Thanks. I have bug in filefox that prevents me from the website search engine. I have to use an external search engine or look through the files on at a time. :p Duckduckgo: morrowind texture packs http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/19604/? The 'morrowind texture pack' is great. What mods have better quality than this?
Dragon32
Dunno. Some people talk about "the Pastebin guide" which I think is this - https://pastebin.com/7gF2VLaf [Edit: and the search on Bethesda's forums has been borked for years] Edited April 4, 2017 by Dragon32

Some people talk about "the Pastebin guide" which I think is this - https://pastebin.com/7gF2VLaf [Edit: and the search on Bethesda's forums has been borked for years] Thanks. Well in that case, I uninstalled NMM until someone else answers. I have morrowind mod manager. I used it to make an omod for "passive wildlife" and "morrowind texture pack". There is some weird "plugin don't match" on launching morrowind. Warnings file: One of the files that "Passive_Healthy_Wildlife.esp" is dependent on has changed since the last save. This may result in errors. Saving again will clear this messagebut not necessarily fix any errors. One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on. Errors may occur during load or game play. Check the "Warnings.txt" file for more information.Texture "Data Files\Textures\Tx_env_crystal.dds" count 3.Texture "Textures\_land_default.tga" count 3.Texture "Data Files\Textures\Tx_crystal_03n.dds" count 3.Texture "Textures\Tx_W_dart_steel.dds" count 3.Texture "Textures\menu_thick_border_bottom_right_corner.dds" count 2. I have wyre bash installed. All saves have been checked with "repair refs".

Errors may occur during load or game play. Check the "Warnings.txt" file for more information. <snip> That usually means the plugin was created with a different version of Morrowind to the one you have installed. It can mean a different language, or an earlier game version (e.g. pre-Tribunal). When creating a plugin (.ESP) the plugin's masters (.ESM) are recorded in the plugin header, along with the ESM's file size. When you load a plugin the saved file size is checked against the file size of the relevant ESM you have installed. If they don't match that error is shown. You can fix it in Wrye Mash. On the mods tab these mods will have a yellow checkbox, select them and then look for the Save button in the bottom right. Click that and the plugin header will be updated with the file sizes of the ESMs from your install. You won't see the error again. <snip> Texture "Data Files\Textures\Tx_env_crystal.dds" count 3. All saves have been checked with "repair refs".Those last ones are generated when Morrowind is closing down. It is a list of textures that hasn't been cleaned up correctly by the engine, along with the number of loose references remaining. You can ignore them. Do I install the 32bit version? http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2417960/msvcr100-dll-32bit-64bit.html I'm on Win10 64bit and have installed both the 32bit and 64bit versions. The runtimes are used by programs so whether a program needs the 32bit or 64bit runtimes is determined by whether the program itself is 32bit or 64bit
