AreeSoothsayer
I was playing skyrim just fine all yesterday. Went to bed, woke up, did the morning gig, started up Skyrim. CTD. Wha?
GomuGomu64
Welcome to my world. Saved, turned off compy, slept, woke up, Skyrim freezes every 5 minutes. Great.
nosisab
Yeah, welcome to the early modding world ... now, breath deep... try updating all the mods you have installed (special care with those who affects UI in general and shortcut keys in special). Let's hope this help without the need to start fresh new games, for at this point the savegames may be compromised too.
AreeSoothsayer
Allright I will try the updating getgo because I can't even make it to the startup screen before it CTD's/ Found the problem. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=7818and it seems I'm not the only one. I had to disable all the mods and go in one by one to locate the problem. Edited February 5, 2012 by AreeSoothsayer
nosisab
Be aware that the ability to get into the game is not yet warranty of stability, if using NMM is relatively simple to verify the mods have updates but not all will be there, mainly those most sensible to patch changes, like those plugins linked to SKSE and script dragon (for they rely in directly accessing the game in memory at run time). Of course SKSE and Script Dragon themselves are already updated for the game would not even start otherwise. But make sure to update those mods which may lie on the main folder (named with extension .asi) or under the /Data/SKSE/plugins folder (as dlls).
