archer9
I've tried several different console commands that people have recommended me, but none of them stop health regeneration. Stamina - Yes, it works on that (and magicka as well). But health still keeps regenerating. Very slowly, but it does. I removed all my items from me and waited until all effects waned off and entered the console commands again, but health still regenerated even after that. I started a new game and the problem was gone, however, I want to continue my current game... Any ideas? :) The console commands I used were: player.modav healrate -0.7player.modav healratemult -100 Edited February 10, 2012 by archer9
nosisab
Almost certainly some "ability" like effect is applied to your character, some of these are flagged to not show in the UI stats. If it comes from custom enchanted item which got it's parent mod disabled, may be hard to trace the origin. Try remember if used some mod of the kind or what you could have typed in the console which could create that situation. The common set, force and mod actor value act only on specifics and do not cover the effects coming from powers, abilities and/or diseases in general Edited February 10, 2012 by nosisab
archer9
Thanks for the reply.I'm pretty sure I haven't disabled any mods that I've previously used, except for RealisticLighting. Or maybe I just have poor memory, I don't know. And with console I am certain, I have only ever altered the timescale, that's it. Maybe there are some cheats that could reset some stats or something? I'm willing to go for compromises here.
nosisab
The problem is you would need to remove specific abilities causing the regeneration and to do it you need to know what ability is it. I say so because if the command GetAV healthrate (or something like this, I don't recall from the top of my head) returns 0, something "external" the character build is the cause. Modav with negative values can compensate the effect but I dare not to advise this for I'm not sure how it could affect the game mechanics in some situations. rabidNode
I had a similar issue and still was never able to figure it out. I had health regen working for almost the entire game and then it stopped working.I also am looking for console command that will display all magic effects and their ids but have not been able to find this.I have 3 magic effects right now that are stuck on me. I also notice that there are magic effects that do not show up in the effects menu.the entire effects system is piss poor lacking the ability to see all effects and to truly remove or change them.if anyone out there has a console command that will display all effects please post it you can try to select your character and console then type dispelallspellsthis has not worked for my lingering spell effects but it could possible work for an invisible spell affect i think and can not be certain what happened to me when I had the health regen issue is that I drank a potion with regen on it and it stuck on me Edited February 10, 2012 by rabidNode
archer9
@nosisab: It does return 0. But the game does not accept negative values. It seems like it does not go below zero. @rabidNode: "dispelallspells" didn't help..
gsmanners
I started a new game and the problem was gone, however, I want to continue my current game... Either a spell or a perk of some kind. Maybe one of the bugged perks like Ancient Knowledge?
archer9
Doesn't matter, started a new game. A shame really, had a level 40 char, but whatever. :]
