charles6794
Hello, I've been using the NMM for a while now (since skyrim came out) and i recently decided to have a go with the steam workshop as well as some mods there are not available here. however after having downloaded mods from their and launched the game it only registers my s.w. mods and not my NMM ones. I've checked the settings in NMM and the skyrim launcher and all the boxes are ticked it just doesn't load them any more. I was wondering if there is anything i can do as all my stuff is in a mod added house from nmm and it;s not longer in my game. Thanks in advance! minngarm
have you tried a new save to see if it works? It could be the save is no longer viable.
nosisab
If you use mods based on SKSE you should "start" the launcher once from Steam to get your mods; quit without actually starting the game. Start it normally by the skse_loader.exe. I don't know if there are already mods depending seriously on load order, if so, good luck with SW. Now, that behavior of Steam Workshop disabling "mods" (understand NMM just installs mods, it doesn't even need to be active for them to run afterwards) is something new I never saw reported before, it should not happen at all, does not matter how the mods were installed. Edit for personal opinion: I rather believe SW is not resorting to such lowly and evil marketing practice, it would not reflect well for them and would get immediate shun from the community. So, is probably something wrong with your setup, OP, or the way you are starting the game and not a "fight" between SW and NMM, even because would not be a fight against NMM but against all mods installed outside SW way, including manually placing the mod's files inside correct folders. charles6794
Thanks guy starting a new save seemed too fix everything after I moved around some things in NMM. :') Shame I lost my old save but I guess its the risk I new I took with using mods. :/ Edit: Gave you both Kudos dunno what else I can do too thank you. :P Edited February 10, 2012 by charles6794
nosisab
This thread is becoming more and more confusing. Is understandable save games becoming compromised after the patch, actually that's what start making sense in all that confusion and then starting a new game may correct things. Just that is still a mystery how it affected mods other than the clear necessity of updating most of them due to the last patch.
