Jetaman
Hello everyone.I'm writing here because I don't know whereis the right place to post. I need some help and I'm looking for someone who can help me. I'm working on my own non-commercial sprite-based isometric RPG game and I'm using Skyrim assets. I render models and animation in 3ds max and compile sprites to use in game. here are some examples of what I already did.The problem that I'm having is that, as you may know, Skyrim has some problems with animations. A lot of the animations are bugged when exported and put in 3ds max. There are some weird bones and distorted movements. Also some of the animations that I need doesn't exist. I'm looking for someone who can fix the existing animations or create new animations for me (based on skyrim skeleton). If you're interested I'm ready to pay for your time. Please let me know what you think.
DoctorKaizeld
Sir this is all quite illegal. You are using assets from skyrim without permission and offering to pay for assistance with it.
Jetaman
It may look like it's illegal but in fact it's the same as using Assassin Creed armor or Diablo 3 assets in Skyrim. I am not making money on this. The overall goal of my project is to learn game development using (or better to say "re-using") already exitsing assets, because I can't model and animate myself and I am a starting game developer. I am offering money for this because I am desperate (skyrim animations are a great pain in the ass) and I know that no one will help me for free, so it's just a little reward for spending their time. DoctorKaizeld
you cant use Diablo 3 or assassins creed assets... those are armors were made from scratch or using existing Skyrim assets. also Bethesda says they dont want you using their stuff in other games so no it is illegal. also you cant offer money on this either due to the legalities issues. Deleted38846565User
I'm not sure if this illegal or not but I do have to say if you're learning game dev it'd be smart to learn it yourself anyway
FrankFamily
Or just buy some models with good animations and don't rely on Skyrim and illegalities. I mean, if you are going to spend money, at least do it on something legal and publishable.

Jetaman
First, I started modding Diablo 2 game, but then I decided to make a whole new game on its engine. You can see a short video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTCsYEqhZdoThank you for your advice. I will look into Unity and Mixamo.
Di0nysys
That project looks pretty cool. If u ever decide to move to a proper engine, Gamemaker is great for 2d stuff, even better than Unity.
