I plan on having a companion that actually has more of an opinion about the Dragonborn and the land of Skyrim along with what's going on in the place. Currently I'm trying to understand Papyrus to get menus working on him and just trying to make him a working follower ally first before I move on to write more things like packages and dialogues concerning the Dragonborn's choices/progress in the MQ and other major quests. modder3434 Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 I'm working on a personal house mod, but getting all the correct activators and models for the crafting stations is a pain in the arse. Not to mention that every exterior of a tower or a shack is made up of individual pieces. It allows for much greater variety, but its a giant pain to make sure its all placed correctly. KraGeRzR Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) I tried to build about 20 high level mods, but no one knows anything about how to do them, so I'm stuck. :( So instead I'm just trying to build a drop torch mod so in combat or when mining you still have light. Galacticat42 Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 I'm trying to script perks to make them affect shouts - as they were by default shouts were not affected by perk variables since shouts have non-spell elements to them (i.e. unique projectiles). kromey Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) Dovahheim is a player-owned town mod, where the player will clear out the bandits at Robber's Gorge and then set up an outpost there to help secure the trade route. Just uploaded a proof-of-concept version with a test activator that will replace the bandits with Hjaalmarch guards, which will be the initial stage of taking ownership; next task is to set up the quest that the test activator is currently standing in for. Khet Posted February 12, 2012 Share Posted February 12, 2012 Alternate Start mod that will skip the beginning, start the player in a small safe-house like cave, that picks up after the attack on Helgen. You choose your backstory such a Smith, Bandit, Warrior, Mage, ect. and meet up with an NPC that can become a companion with his own unique storyline.
