I found some patches that allow Loads of ammo, VIS, and some standalone weapons compatible with each other, downloaded them and now quite a few of my mods arent working. Even after i deleted said patches and even LOA itself its still broken! Grasslands doesn't change anything, Full dialouge is not working, VIS and def UI aren't playing nice (no tabs or icons), and almost all of my modded weapons are now invisible and deal no damage but still make noise. I have no idea what caused this. Everything has been done through LOOT so could the load order be to blame? Jannifer Posted May 21, 2017 Share Posted May 21, 2017 Actually, the file limit is the same for Skyrim and FO4 -- 255 .esm/.esp files. You can have more files than that in your mod list, but the game will only load the first 255 activated files. The game does not count inactive files/mods. Now, whether your rig will run that many is another matter entirely. :tongue: My old abacus hit the wall at about 130. My current rig is still going strong at 160, and I'm still adding. However, I don't run a lot of overhaul mods. Currently, I'm using Apocalypse Magic, Better Vampires, Moonlight Tales and OBIS (Organized Bandits in Skyrim). I have also combined a lot of the smaller mods for tattoos/war paints, weapons, armor, clothing and jewelry. In your particular case, I'd verify your game cache through Steam. Then, start a new game and see if you're still having problems. If you aren't having problems, it's your save file. If you are still having problems, then it's your load order. If your save is borked, uninstall the patch and go back to an earlier save from before you installed the mod. It's the only way to get rid of the changes that the mod made to your save. Good luck! I hope you get everything sorted out. :smile: EDIT: LOOT is not the be-all and end-all of ordering your mods. It's a good place to start, but it's not perfect. For example, it will sometimes place child files before parent files. That is, it will place a mod which depends on another before the mod it needs to work. So for the mods I know ... load order is fine. DLCUltraHighResolution.esm should be way up there right along with all DLC. I don't think this one particularly matters, but fix it!What is timetravel.esp? Is that a mod where it lets you go back to the pre war Sanctuary via a portal? If so, its fine. If it alters game start, you may want to put it higher in load order.ValdacilsItemSorting - DOOMBASED Weapons Merged TAGS.esp=0 I know it is inactive. But I know this patch is intended for Doombased merged weapon pack that contain about 6-7 of his weapons in 1 esp. You should get that mod instead of the Desert Eagle, Mac-11, etc.... save you some ESP count. It will definitely create problems if you enable this because you do not have ALL the weapons in Doombased collection. Unless you download the collection via the link I post below.That 3dscope taking up 10 esp is really bad. you only have total of 255 to use.If you use NMM, you can check the Plugin tab, any mod that is missing masters will show up in Orange. And when you go over 255 mods, NMM will warn you with a red number at the status bar. I am not counting how many mods you have here, but as some other said, you may go over 255, and FO4 will only load 255 mods (which Fallout 4 and the DLC already take up like 6-7 already).
