HeyYou
I'm just wondering if any of you read the posts that Pres. Trump made about his life and how he perceives his involvement. After reading all your posts I sort of doubt any of what you've realized makes a difference to him. The one thing that got my attention in his post about himself is, "He's a Gamer." And if he could not play he would lose interest. So! All in all if, Big IF here; pull the plug on his ability to play the game, as he calls it, and there would be a sudden change in the attitudes of the people who are in all the gov departments that are shrieking at the way he behaves.I tend to ignore his twitter posts, as the ravings of a mad man. The republicans could have ran just about anyone else.... and still won. :)
gandalftw
The posts that Trump writes are nothing more than a narcissists attempt at self promotion.Trump doesn't operate in the real world,in the real world he's had 7 bankruptcies,in the real world he's been sued for not paying his contractors for the work they've done on several of his failed casinos. In the real world he's had to settle numerous court cases that ranged from pedophilia rape to racial discrimination to his little University scam that also failed miserably. If you believe that Trump is what he tells you he is,i have some prime swamp property for sale...PM me it's very cheap... Edited June 14, 2017 by gandalftw

Accounts on his 1st 100 days as President and stuff like that. Wall Street Journal, New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and other major papers. It is difficult to find anyone these days in any government organization that can win the hearts of the people like Roosevelt and his radio talk show did during WWII. Flea bitten people with Moth eaten carpet bags are hard to find anymore.

GoP the owners, Democrats the laborers, and the President is the complaint department. And Trump has brought all the complaints he remembers from all the people he had to listen to before he got elected. No middle class, so the situation is more like a Monarchy, more then ever. And as for that picture with him and the Pope. Trump can smile like Cheshire Cat all he wants because he knows that he's got nothing to lose but the weight on his shoulders. I saw that advertisement where he's shown where he would crawl into a dumpster if he dropped his Master Card in there by accident. He's not afraid of getting dirty. What i see is a once great country, with flaws, turned into a worldwide laughing stock with Trump as it's head clown. Great resources for colonies to begin and thrive off. Great industry for cotton gins. Great industry for wool factories. Great Industry for War machines. Great Industry for War Bonds. Great Industry pan handlers delivering goods to farmers and ranchers before the farmers and ranchers acquired a township because they were breeding like flies. Great for carpetbaggers known as door to door salesmen who came to town to do more then just sell to the ladies and single mothers before they tried to run out of on town on their own with the widows savings and maybe even the deed to the woman's land. Great industry for forestry services, for BLM, Fishing Coastal businesses, and tourism. Great industry for Hunters, railroads, Buffalo skinners, and my oh my, we've had such a Great history of outlaws, and bank robbers, great lot of cattle rustlers, and unfortunately our Sheep haven't gotten allot of attention since the Silk worm, but Wool is still a commodity. Great Smelter, mining, and automobile assembly lines who made it possible for a country I won't mention we sent scrap metal too who attacked the United States later on. Great Military forces that rose from the draft boards to fight for our Freedom from the Monarchy, also the civil war between the North and the South. Not to forget we are a great country because we got involved in two two World Wars when we didn't even need to. But someone wanted to save Britain from the pains of our nations invitations before we found out Hitler did not just want to come to the U.S. of A. to become a Broadway Star. I love that old movie, The Producers. We are a great country and we have to prove it by letting the act that is now in office to try their hand at running the show. The Big Top is now in the City. My favorite movie is,"Dances with Wolves" where a man of quality leaves a world of chaos for one of unity and belonging. I think that is one of my favorite Kevin Costner movies. :) It would be nice to clean up washington, and put folks there that actually cared about america, rather than going there to see how rich they can get while they are there, and then retire on the taxpayers dime. Only thing is, it's not going to happen with something truly bad happening. Revolution, Civil war, something along those lines. America has already more than adequately demonstrated that they aren't going to change a damn thing with their vote. The only thing that changes is which party full of crooks is in charge. And we seem to have a never ending supply of crooks. Not to mention that we ourselves frequently put the same KNOWN crooks back in office, again and again and again, etc.

As for cleaning up Washington i agree wholeheartedly but at my age i doubt i'll ever see that happen. The best i could hope for is to see this country return to reason, inclusiveness and progressive values and morals.I want to see my fellows free to be who they are as long as they respect the rights of others,i want to see individuality championed and applauded as well it should be.As a country we are strongest when we accept and reward diversity. Those that do not feel a part of a society will do very little to advance that society,we need everyone we need to unite. I live near enough to where there are many of the 1st Peoples, that's what they call them selves now, that I know enough about that movies stories. Hey! While we're on the subject of Kevin Costner; John Baird and him, along with an illustrator Rick Ross have a book out, "The Explorers Guild Volume 0ne". Talk about taking the TARDIS and going back in time. I liked A Man Called Horse and Billy Jack too. The local people of the Rocky Boy Res. and another of them from Browning, MT Heart Butte, and few others I met in Washington while attending EWSC, now EWU, at Cheney WA, studying at the college, the Native Americans, as they were referred to back then, did not find the movies amusing enough to spend their money they got from the government to stay on the Reservation to go see any of them. I would like to give mention that C. M. Russell was not only a painter he went through a tribes trials so he became a member. His buckskin suit with animal horn helm with moccasins outfit was on display in the C. M. Russell Museum for quite awhile. As for cleaning up Washington, D. C. Why don't you start looking for someone that qualifies and campaign for them and make sure they get elected before we're all to old to remember whose who anymore.
