blueseraph Posted May 20, 2017 Share Posted May 20, 2017 I am having clipping issues with both of my favorite companions, Cait and Piper.I am using several outfits layered to to create their look. Their breast come through the outfit but if I put the same outfit on my character or a settler it looks right.Not sure why Cait and Piper are the only 2 that are having this issue.I high lighted all the mods that should be effecting Cait and Pipers outfits. The issue started after I added the Cherry Physics to all the clothing.Before I did that their beast had physics but the outfits did not.It all works great on everyone else. That is the only way to explain why only these 2 companions have issues (because their body meshes seem bigger than the rest of the women NPC in game). Jannifer Posted May 22, 2017 Share Posted May 22, 2017 I'm with tomomi in that the problem is likely the custom bodies that the two characters are using. Outfit Studio isn't going to be the issue, because it doesn't run with the game. It only runs outside the game. CBBE might cause a kind of double body issue in that a modded character might show both the CBBE body and the modded body. I know that textures can do this, but I'm not as sure about meshes. However, I believe it's really a conflict between the clothing and the bodies. You might try doing a "batch build" of the bodies and the clothing meshes with BodySlide to see if that fixes the issue. Be sure to check off only what you're using when you do that. That instruction will make sense when you go to do the build. Also, if your physics mod has an .esp file (I play Skyrim, so I'm less familiar with FO4 mods, although the games are modded in the same way), make sure that's above any mod which changes Piper and Cait in your load order. So I gave them shoes to make them nude. The shoes have the CBBE body attached. The physics was still working so I did not think it was the issue. I think the body either had the CBBE physics on them or were expanded to fit as an outfit instead of a body, causing the clipping. I loaded the shoes into Outfit Studio and copied the Cherry Physics bone weights. Everything works perfect now. Wish there was a script or something that would copy the bone weights to all my mods.
