Sometimes I feel a bit alone in the world...

Hi everyone :) I'm known as Halad in other areas of the Net I've made myself home at. As for the topic title, well, it's true. For instance, take me playing Skyrim. As a teenaged girl I really should be more obsessed with let's say, Vampire Diaries, but Skyrim's more my thing :) The only other people I know who play are my friend's brother and my own brother. it feels so good to be among other gamers! I'm no hardcore gamer or anything, I just really enjoy Skyrim's sense of adventure and epicness.

Skyrim's one of my first games actually, me having started with Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood last year. As you can tell I quickly got obsessed with all these games, and with Skyrim, I discovered the wonders of the modding community, so here I am!

... now all I need to find are a couple other heavy metal fans... I think I have really weird tastes for my gender and age XD

Not all that alone, my tip to you is find what it is you like about games and then follow that. For me that's shear scale, I like a huge universe I can totaly immerse myself in, so I'm drawn to games like EVE Online and the WarHammer titles.

Nah, just kidding of course. There's actually quite a lot of metal fans 'round here, so I think you'll feel right at home.

Welcome to The Nexus. I am sure with the community here you will find many people with which you have things in common. By the way...HUGE metal fan here, though being much older than you I sometimes go for the more "classic" metal. Like BEFORE Metallica went to therapy. Metal bands shouldn't go to therapy.....*mutters and wanders off*
