morogoth35
Hi guys. So for almost 4 years now I've only played mages in Skyrim. I played a warrior one time and that was the first time I played Skyrim I think. Anyways, I have tried making a theif, archer and warrior but it just doesn't work for me. I haven't played the Theives guild or the Dark Brotherhood in 5 years of playing Skyrim. I just don't know what's wrong with me. When I try to play a theif I get bored after just an hour of playing. Anyone that has the same issue? Any advice? I mean I can do the Dark Brotherhood and the Theives guild on a mage character but that doesn't feel right either... iXenite
Well, currently I am playing a thief for the first time. I used the Live Another Life mod to start the game as a vampire and am using Sacrosanct to spice things up. Other than vampire magic this isn't a magic based playthrough. What has kept it interesting for me is the combination of dealing with vampirism, and learning how to be a good thief. Like I said, I've never done a thief playthrough before so it's all pretty new to me. The vampire powers has really made for a good combo in my opinion for a character that will be predominately sneaking around in the shadows. That and I've found learning how the Sacrosanct mod works to be a fun experience. I would suggest ditching magic and going for a weapon class you've never really used much before. For me that was daggers - I've never bothered with them in the past so it's spiced things a little bit when it comes to combat.
Shivala
Yeah, spice things up. I use Enemies Enhancer and SkyTweak mostly and some combat / AI mods. Allows you to tweak it to your playstyle. With Enemies Enhancer you can specify what dmg they are going to deal. Also research mods that add to the atmosphere of your character. Eleonora has a house for every type of character for instance. Clothing, jewelry, armor, all adds to the perfect game.

Yeah it's fun! Good luck! For Jewelry you can't beat Immersive Jewelry btw I love finding new trinkets everywhere. I just found a superrare item (not going to spoil here)

Fkemman11
I always play a hybrid class. Try to specialize in one type dest, conj, and take a few perks in other schools. The rest I devote to archery and warrior skills. Also take smithing tree once - build everything I want- and then flip the perks to use elsewhere. So essentially I switch styles on the fly. :D
