TheHunter81
I'm still new with installing mods. I understand the basics and mainly use NMM. My question is, some mod instructions on the page say to add certain lines to fallout4custom.ini. Then they also say to use NMM. Is adding those lines optional or mandatory? Sorry I'm a noob :D
Bernt
I think they're mandatory in order to make the game accept mods at all. And no excuses. All of us have been noobs at one time. Fortunately you have entered a great and very helpful community here :)

iXenite
This is true.... Though i didnt make any ini changes. When I tried it during the free weekend, NMM always gave me a warning message until I made the CustomINI file.

TheHunter81
Thanks for the feedback. I've always just used NMM, hit install and that was it. I've never had any notice either.
