nicsum
I recently reinstalled skyrim using all the mods and tweaks I used to use. I later stumbled over a few post saying that these three tweaks (under skyrim.ini general section): uInterior Cell Buffer=12,uExterior Cell Buffer=144,iNumHWThreads=8, are harmful or useless. Specially that "hwthreads" can cause havoc engine crashes. Though I currently have only had two random seemingly harmless crashes on my level 30 character, I'm worried that as I progress through the game crashes will get more frequent. My question is 1: Are they actually harmful, 2: Will just removing and continuing current save be ok, or 3: Do I need to simply start a new save or completely reinstall skyrim to fix it? ymf331
should be ok to just remove them lines i think. if you want to run skse to use all your cpu cores, there's a thing in this guide under '9. Icing on the Cake' that might help.
