I think the proposed system is fair for modders; curated, well deserved modders and their mods will get paid... HOWEVER, what I'm concerned about the this part here taken from their FAQ: "It features new items, abilities, and gameplay created by Bethesda Games Studios..."

So, with that in mind... will they keep items that are supposed to be in their future games off the "released" version so they can sell them off as "Mods" created by Bethesda?! I mean c'mon... Full price for the game, season passes for lackluster DLCs and now microtransactions for items/features/quests/lands they "might or might not" have taken off the original game to sell to us in their "Creation Club"?!

They could have really made this work by sticking by curated community or third party mods or "creations" but they had to ruin it by sticking their nose right in the middle.

i think it is a good thing for bethesda too work with modders to dev expansion packs for skyrim, skyrim is a old game so its the best way to get new large expansions for new games by bethesda that would be a problem they could withold content and then release it tru cc so i dont think new games should have cc

That's the thing! We ARE paying / have paid for their Season Passes, any big/large expansions should automatically be included within the season pass! by releasing them aside through the CC they're ripping us blind!

ok, so i think this could work, as long as major overhauls/weapon packs/perk overhauls/UI overhauls are not allowed. But if they are allowed then this will reduce the nexus to the mods that a game dev cant endorse/produce nude/sex/porn/obscene violence. And they need to wait 4 years before they introduce it to a new game like ES6.

OK. I think this CC could work, as long as it's not ye olde horse armor paid mods. Probably the only way someone would actually pay for mods if it have added value to the content (quests, extremely decorated houses, gameplay overhauls, etc.) I think the market will have the power to decide whether they will support uninspired weapon and armor mods that is only a reskin or not.

Another thing I'm actually concerned with, is whether or not it will decrease our mod limit in our games.
