Went back to help fight off raiders and found that the local settlers had put on the power armor. Will they return it? Any way to retrieve that armor? jones177 Posted June 25, 2017 Share Posted June 25, 2017 Some settlers don't give them up at all. Others you get the dialogue "I need your to get out of your power armor". I usually get a CTD if a raider or gunner tries to steal one. Caravan guards & Brotherhood NPCs don't. I don't keep power armor a Sanctuary Hills because in the early days Sturges would eat them. Urtho Posted June 25, 2017 Share Posted June 25, 2017 Make sure they're assigned to a job that allows them to sleep in a bed - meaning not a guard on patrol that never actually sleeps. Advance time in the game to the usual sleep time and in theory they should get out of the power armor on their own in order to use a bed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Fkemman11 Posted June 25, 2017 Share Posted June 25, 2017 I use a mod that as part of it allows followers to use PA without a core. Unfortunately this applies to ALL npcs. So not only do I have to hide cores, I have to hide PA pieces as well to prevent theft. But like has been said, they need to exit PA to interact with most things. I think it would be kinda fun to have mini quests where gunners or raiders try to steal your PA and then give you a marker where to find them and get it back.
