TCRainbow6
Ok, so at the end of April I switched from Xbox to PC, and today I bought Fallout 4. Before I started anything I wanted to get most of the mods I had on my Xbox version back on PC so I could be basically playing the same save I had on Xbox, but everytime I use NMM and open up the F4 manager, it says I have no INI file and I need to run it before getting any mods. So I did, got to the main menu then quit out and tried again, same thing. So the next time I went a little further, and did character creation, then quit out and tried again, but no INI again. What should I do?
Fonger
since that should have created the missing file how are you exiting
Jannifer
If you haven't already, try starting the game from Steam rather than from a desktop shortcut. If that doesn't work, you might try reinstalling NMM, since the problem could be a glitch. Another idea is to go old-school and reboot (restart) your computer. iXenite
I'm assuming you're talking about the "CustomINI". When I tried the free trial for Fallout 4 - I followed this tutorial to get NMM to work. Apparently the CustomINI thing doesn't seem to be a universal issue from what I've learned by discussing this with other users of this site. Very strange, but still fixable regardless.
