boogs39
Ok, so I was looking at all my mods today, and I was like, "Can I even call this Skyrim anymore?". Then I thought "Of course I can. But maybe more like Skyrim 2.0". Because lets face it, we all LOVE mods. I mean, thats why were here, isn't it? But I have to ask, is there a point when you reach too many? I say, nay, if the game still works fine, then load up the mods!!! The point to all my blabbering is this: How many mods do you have, and do you think there's a point when you reach too many?? I'd look forward to your responses!
umbrex
I have roughly...30 mods I'm using right now. And there's never a "too many" point. As long as it makes the game more fun, I'm all for it. (except when the game won't load or just crashes. That might be when you have too many lol)
SkjoldBjorn
I keep most as close to vanilla as possible, things that fit into skyrim sure, i might add them, but if they somehow gives me things without the need for a challenge or makes the game less challenging in anyway i tend to stay away. I run 7 mods atm, 3 of them my own for testing. Jayrus weapons, huscarls can wear anything, enb series and no more blocky faces. I have not found any other mod i would like to run so far, ive tried the highres texturepacks etc, even though they have done a lot of work getting it out i just think they are to sharp for my taste. Bethesda's own high-res pack is more than enough for me. I mod a lot myself, but i do not like to have a lot of mods, i might install a lot for to test em out, but i always end up deleting 80% of the mods, not because they are bad, just because im very picky, as i don't want anything that would not fit skyrim. (my subjective opinion of what fits skyrim and not that is)
Mansh00ter
0 right now. Running a clean testing environment for my own mods takes precedence... otherwise I tend to end up with about 30-40 of them until my game threatens to uninstall itself. nosisab
Not many, experience taught me to be careful on what to install and the kind of conflicts to expect now and in near future.
AreeSoothsayer
I'm running 187 mods. Most of them additional weapons/armor and texture upgrades to various items. I do have gameplay mods like Deadly Dragons and War in Skyrim so I am actually killed in a fight. Vanilla was so laughably easy it almost made me cry. jet4571
About 30 downloaded mods and nearly 100 small mods I made for myself(mostly individual NPC tweaks). Like Sk8on I try to use mods that keep the flavor of vanilla but I use more downloaded that doesn't change too much.
