wukong80
Are there really any experienced players still wasting skill points in lockpicking perks honestly? I find myself this being totally useless as I don't see the necessity for any of these perks and I do open a lot of doors with lockpicking. Staind716
I have never put a single point in lockpicking. When you can open master locks without wasting points why bother?
PsYchotic666Joker
I agree, it's pointless, i myself have never point any perks into the tree, no need when i can open master locks pretty easy, and i don't even use that cheat mod to show you how to open them in like a second. AlterMann22
I agree, it's totally useless perk tree. One of unbalanced things in Skyrim.
Dubnoman
I have a stealth character and I found it much better to put perk points into pickpocketing and speechcraft. Haven't put a single perk point into lockpicking.
Rennn
I put points into lockpicking. Of course, now I have like 200 picks and I keep getting more. Perhaps it was a waste. Oh well; that's only my test profile.
knovack1
I never once stuck points in lockpicking. Never understood why some people do. There are many Mod saves that came out that I would download as my character for an alternative beginning, I had this one save that had around six perks in Lockpicking, and the Inventory was full of all kinds of junk, Several different animal pelts, Tripples of armor types and weapons, Burned books, and several readable books....Huh, why would someone accumulate so much useless junk in their inventory? wukong80
Well it's good to see many people sharing the same thought. To some extend I think pickpocket is also a waste. IMO there should be only one perk tree called something like stealth and it should regroup sneaking, pickpocketing and lockpicking perks. I don't know if anyone as done anything like this as a mod, but that would be a great idea.
ToMuchForYa
I put points on lock picking on my first character that was a sneak archer type, I just put it all the way to the unbreakable lock picks.
