Raft town mod

Hey everyone, so this might seem like an odd modd to ask for, but since there's a more or less large area of water out there, I think it would be awesome to have an area out in the ocean to make a floating raft town out there. I'm not really talking about having an island or any type of land as a starting point. Sort of like waterworld, personally I'd start using the barrel raft parts and walkways in the G2M mod under the section with the fish traps and build up from there. I'm sure someone else with the skills it takes would also like to see this happen :D The only thing I'm not sure how it would work is with the supply line caravans, but since it seems work independently of if they make it from one settlement to another they'd just swim out, I think.

that raft appears to be constructed East-South-East near Warwick Pump Station, south of the Quincy Sector of the vanilla map.

it appears almost equidistant to the Atom Cats Garage

perhaps that 'libertalia' parts pack would add some water-world-ish style architecture options

for settlement building?

It's a huge area of opportunity for parts-packs for settlement-focused modders though.

what'd be real neat is,

if the settlement actually drifts or is mobile...

that'd be tricky, trickier than an elevator mobile settlement that's for sure.

Please check this out and see if it will work for you. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/ajax/downloadfile?id=76874 I used this on a play through a while back, it's pretty large. Let me know if you like it.

That looks great! Where can I find it on the map (or what's a nearby location?) Also do the borders extend beyond the raft?

If you look at the picture Warwick is in upper right hand corner and that is Spectacle island on the left. I cant remember off hand but I think the barge is close to 20 building blocks long. Not sure how much build area past edges of barge but know you can add at least 4 more wood shack floor pieces to length and width.

Even more amazing would be "Pacifica: A fallout 4 total conversion"

Hawaii, being part of the US, also gets nuked but the impact somehow causes the sinking of the islands (bad science but bear with me.) Somehow some people survive and rebuild civilization in raft settlements. Power armor was reworked to be submersible and used to explore and scavenge cities that are now underwater, which means you may also encounter rivals or raiders donning their own power armor down there. You may also encounter and have to deal with the Enclave. This would probably be a lot of work (don't know if more, or less compared to other total conversions out there), but as I see it with my little knowledge of what modding can do it seems feasible.

Just say the land itself is uninhabitable because of the radiation/fallout, so they had to grab what resources they could and get away. Have coastal cities that collapsed into the ocean because of the upheaval of land from the nukes so you can still explore sunken buildings and such. You could also throw in a glowing sea type area on land if you want.

I've been going through more mods, I found another water settlement you might be interested in. This other one is a bit south of the first I showed you. If both get built you should be able to see the one from the other. A link and a pic. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/ajax/downloadfile?id=100695 This view looks right at the other location. 24483-4-1495947583.jpg
