hey to you all... I wanted to ask you about the investigation in chorrol and somethings about dodging...

1. For the investigation that the countess of Chorrol gave me, I found the unusual painting in the west tower and I found the brushes and the other painting stuff in the mage girl's room... I should find more clues but where I dont know where?

And a question about dodging... I dont use deadly reflex or such OBSE mods, but I got the dodge feat, you know that tumbling and such... Does it have any use other than jumping and tumbling around? Did anyone use it effectively?? :D

1. The paint on the floor in the dining room.

2. I that the 50 Acrobatics? If so it is kinda useful in the arena (well if you make tohe arena hard with mods, otherwise you can just stand still and kill every one).

1. Whoa thanks, I ve been there many times but didnt even notice that painting :D

2. So how do you use it exaclty, yea I mean that dodge with 50 acrobatics or something, I tried it in the arena, and I am an assassin so I can stand and kill the opponents in Arena :D I tried to dodge once or twice but got my behind kicked... So how can I use it effectively? I mean it is easier just to move back and get out of the range of attack... The moment I try to dodge and tumble back, the opponent just follows me and hits me repeatedly :D...

You must talk to everyone pointed by the countess, and so the several clues... Since you found the picture you did almost if not all were necessary, so just confront Chanel and choose how you will deal with Countess Valga.

Well. Anyone can use the dodging at his leisure, but most will use it to avoid being hit when fighting. And they are effective since you use then with good timing .

Edit: It's not you missed the paint before, it was enabled only after you found the clues to it.

Edit2: I was forgetting, seems her disposition toward you plays a role here, you can try enhance it by speechcraft or just bribing her.

1. Whoa!! Alright I need to read posts carefully cause I look for a PAINTING rather than paint marks on the carpet :D Thanks a lot.

2. So to use dodge effectively I need to time it right? like just the opponent starts its attack or something... Thank you so much for this too :D

Nope, you already found that painting (there's only one). Check the carpet in the dining room if you havn't yet. It's easy to miss. If you already found all three, the supplies, the painting, and the paint marks, then you need to finish talking with people.

I really don't know if the painting is enabled only after all clues are found, judging he said missed it several times at the tower, and this is somewhat more difficult than miss the painted footmarks, I assumed it ... but if so he already 'saw' the marks and don't saw... hmm, don't know if I did sense :)

If I remember a windows pop at the discovering... so much time since I did this quest.

The unusual painting is there all the time. The JE needed to advance the quest does not appear until you have talked to all the people you need to speak to and you get the JE to look for clues.

Dodging comes in handy for a stealth character, like if you need to cross a hallway quickly without being seen, just roll across! :D

It also comes in handy for dodging traps.

More people need to tumble away from wedding ceremonies....

Thanks for the comment about crossing halls. I've done jumps to shadowy area, but hadn't thought of the rolling. Use that mostly to escape pursuing critters in the woods.
