Problem with .rar

Hi, I'm new here, and I really screwed up downloading my first mod, I was wondering if anyone could help me.

 

Earlier today, I attempted to download the Hitman Suit mod, a .rar file, and I was prompted to choose a program to open it with. I stupidly chose "Fallout 3." Now, everytime I download a .rar file, it is always opened with the wrong program and I don't know how to change it.

 

I was wondering if anyone knew which program was the correct program to open a .rar file with as well as how to change which program you open a .rar file with.

i use 7-Zip for my .zip and .rar files.

 

to change what the default program isfor Windows 7, just go to:

 

Start > Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs > Associate a file type or protocol with a program.

 

then from there, scroll down to .rar and select what you want to use to open it.
