My main quest is utterly f***ed

Well, it seems I have a problem. The main quest is messed up, I killed the dragon at the western watchtower, the graybeards called me and I went to High Hrothgar. When I came there, the graybeards don't gather around and my quest doesn't progress any further, tried loading a previous save, didn't work. So I passed it with console commands. And it worked.

Now I just need to speak to Arngeir to give me The Horn Of Jurgen Windcaller quest but that's where another problem pops up. I talked to him and got the message that The Way Of The Voice quest is finished but The Horn Of Jurgen Windcaller won't start.

So I tried to initiate it using console commands, I used "startquest mq105ustengrav" and "setstage mq105ustengrav 10" none of those worked. I even tried to get to Ustengrav, but the way to the horn is blocked with rocks in the entrance hall of the crypt.

I also tried some other solutions, like disabling all mods, verifying integrity, etc. but it seems nothing works. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this?

Nope, wasn't that. I tried to create a new character and I passed those quests at lightning speed (took me 10 minutes), didn't work. Also, the quest when you escape helgen was bugged as well, Hadvar/Ralof would stop in the storeroom near the beginning and they wouldn't progress furter, half of the hostiles didn't spawn as well.

It seems one of the mods I used caused the problem, but the ones I disabled had absolutely nothing to do with any of this (realistic lighting and eternal torch). When I disabled these I was able to start the quest normally, but only with a new character, the one I had couldn't. I honestly don't understand why these mods make such a problem.

Any mod can change any part of the game (especially mods with bsa files), so you have to assume it could be any mod when you run into a problem. There's also the possibility that a mod conflict could cause problems (one mod might prevent another mod from loading a workaround that avoids quest issues, for example). This is why you want mods that are very focused or at least not very big.

I dunno, It might be obvious. Start a new character. But first deactivate all your mods first before you start a new character. See if it helps, and then when you finish the part with the Greybeards, Re-activate your mods.
