Draiden
After updating to the latest Skyrim patch (1.4.2.7?), the game's camera keeps drifting downwards. I went to all of my *.ini files and removed anything pertaining to camera changes. The problem persisted. I deactivated all my mods and started a new game, same thing. I tried switching from a gamepad to mouse and keyboard and that didn't help. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions on what else I can do to fix this issue? Thank you in advance : )
fms1
It could be a "sticky" joystick or key, I've had a many of 360 controllers that have done this over the years when they are worn a little. There's also something in joystick drivers that allow for adjustment of where joystick centers are that when changing to a new\ different one this can be adjusted to compensate. knovack1
I get the problem with my Logitech game controller aswell. Best thing to do is unplug it, and plugit back in. This usually fixes it.

If you can find your controller in Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> Devices and Printers, left click to highlight, right click, click on "game controller settings", then click the properties "button" you will be where I was describing earlier to correct it. If you simply choose properties instead of "game controller settings" then properties, you will not have the option, If you did it correctly you should be at the "game controller calibration" tabs. (At least it's like this for my 360 controller).

Right now I can not confirm this since yesterday my logitech decided to stop working(something to do with the wire harness that attaches out from the top of my game controller) I do have 2 wireless 360 controllers, but I can never get them to work at all for my PC even with a secondary program that allows the 360 controllers to work for PC. When my Logitech did work, I just unplugged it, an plugged it back in which stopped the camera drifting affect.

I never considered that it was my Logitech Dual Stick USB Controller - knovack1's problem sounds exactly the same as I; Maybe unplugging/replugging while in-game might do it. I haven't even really dropped the damn thing more than twice - heh, time to invest a sturdier model. And switching to keyboard n' mouse, then quitting and restarting got rid of it (but I've gotten really used to playing w/ a gamepad). Thanks for the input about the input :P Edited March 6, 2012 by Draiden
Brandy1123
The stick/pad might have dead spots causing it to stutter downward. calibrate the stick and see if it gives you the option to mask off dead stick values.
