SabreTooth
Greetings, Since the last Skyrim patch, my sound effects have been out of sync as well as some of the graphic effects. I'll draw my weapon, do combat, put my weapon away, then the sound catches up and i hear my weapon draw and then the combat sounds. Same thing for other sounds, i'll jump in some water and then swim and then a bit later as im walking on land ill hear the splash. An example of sound and some graphics, I'll cast sparks and i see the lightning shooting out but no sound, then a bit later i hear the sound and see the effects of the lightning hitting the ground. sometimes the sound will go back in sync, but soon it goes back to the sound lagging behind the action. At first I thought it was Script dragon, but even after the script dragon update I still have the same problems. I'm using windows xp, my sound card is up to date. I've tried setting my sound to different settings (sound card and game settings) and it makes no change with my audio problems in game. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? if not is there a way to roll back my skyrim version?

Best way to describe it. "A sort of Echo" but it does not repeat the whole shout, just the last part of the shout. Example:Fus Roh Dah!.....Rah Da! SabreTooth
Another thing. I was using the Magicka Sabers mod. When i would draw my weapon there was no sound or blade, then the blade would eventually appear a second or so when the sound finally happened. I uninstalled the mod, but the problem was still there, so I don't think it's the mod that was the cause.
wader2k
Just curious....are you using an FPS limiter? I have found that the FPS limiter in Bandicam puts some things slightly out of sync.
SabreTooth
I'm not using an fps limiter. I only use script dragon, a couple house mods, a few weapon mods and some armor mods.
knovack1
Same with me I have Zero FPS programs running that help boost FPS. My settings where autosetted to Ultra when I first installed Skyrim, so I never downloaded ANY FPS boosting programs.
Violins77
Same here. I am indeed using bandicam, but I think it was doing it before I started using it. Will try to turn the frame limit off.
SabreTooth
For some reason skyrum did a auto setting of my graphics settings, and for a short while my sounds seem to be ok, but soon went back to lagging behind the action, but this is making me think that it's possibly a graphics problem messing with the sound, I've been experimenting with the settings but no luck on a solution so far. SubjectProphet
This happens with a laggy computer. Lower the quality and see if that helps any.
SabreTooth
I tried turning everything to lowest, turned music off, etc. Still the same problem. Voices from npc's are fine, in fact if i do a few swings and then talk to the npc, ill hear the weapon swings while the npc is talking. I don't know what that last patch did, but it seems since so few people are having this problem it may be a long time before it gets fixed.
