avenger404
*RESOLVED*I'm working on a mod (hey, who isn't?) that adds 6 custom NPCs with 6 partial custom armor sets (helmet, weapon, armor). These NPCs are meant to be ridiculously overpowered, and when you attain their armor, you can be overpowered too. Currently I can only make them wear standard sets (ebony, dragonscale, archmage robes, etc...). They all have the custom gear in their inventories and do drop it all on death flawlessly. I just need to know how to force them to equip the custom armor. Adding no weapons to their set lets them equip the custom weapons just fine, but the armor has me stuck. NOTE: if it requires scripts, I would humbly request that you be very specific with what I have to do, as I am very, very new at scripting. I've tried giving them no armor to equip - no avail. They just run around with no armor on. Screeny for those interested Edited March 11, 2012 by avenger404

aarons6
you need to make an outfit with that armor as well as put it in inventory.outfits dont drop on death. the npc will wear whatever outfit you assigned it, so if it says none they wont wear any clothes/armor at all. now followers after you recruit them will wear what you give them, but they take it off when you tell them to go home. aarons6
in the ck go to outfits, then make a new one name it whatever and drag the armor you want form the object window into that outfit.then go in the npc builder and in inventory, select the outfit in the drop down. Bumping old thread. Found this on google and I'm having the same problem. Create an outfit using custom armors. Change NPCs default outfit to the custom outfit and they're naked in game. I know for fact load order and dependencies are good. Edited December 1, 2012 by Gorbachev
