Disabling All Mannequins

I hate mannequins. So much. They're creepy to begin with, and it doesn't help that they occasionally bug out and start moving around, but the bloody things are apparently beloved by modders since not only are they in some of the vanilla houses, but they're sprinkled liberally across all the house mods out there right now. What's worse is that some of them are positioned where disabling them through the council requires you to get right up next to them to successfully click then in the console rather than something completely different in the background, which simply isn't happening. (Not to mention sometimes you can't get the console to select the mannequins at all anyway.)

AM hates humans - I hate mannequins.

Therefore, I'd like to whip myself up a mod to permanently disable all the mannequins, including those used in mods. The problem is successfully doing this. I'm figuring all I need to do is boot up the CK, make an .esp that deletes the mannequin activators, and simply load this last. I've already done that, in fact, but before I go ingame to test this am I on the right track, or am I going to go into my house and find the mannequins have been morphed into aggressive enemies, which will most assuredly cause me to never ever play Skyrim again should I survive the subsequent heart attack?

Edit: Upside - my Deleteallmanequins.esp did not accidentally turn the mannequins into zombies. Downside - it also didn't do jack. Somebody please tell me how to delete these mannequins oh God

Well, this is kind of odd... anyways

If you really want to delete mannequins... try this,

go into your creation kit and find the mannequin base in the actors list.

edit that actor, and then try changing the character model to something more appealing to you... liiiiike. a naked j'zargo =D

no guarantees though, im not a pro or anything.
