Personally this industrial minimalistic trendy Layout for cellphones is the worst I have ever seen, and this is my personal view which I won't change it in order to be nice to anyone.

But as someone mentioned that the site has millions users I agree yes the Old site had 13 million not this taste of bad design.

Also as many say that the site works as the previous may you have already forgotten how you could search on the old one, bellow is the categories of the file search for Skyrim same in the other games:

sub folders:

Browse files

Categories

New Today

New recently

Latest files

Top Files

Tag search

Files of the month

Files without tags

 

And because of it's structure design the "search" was functioning great minimized the search in a specific category and tag but this in the OLD site with a layout which had Character. Some Companies try to have a Unique image either Trade mark or Design or Site and others just follow the trendy bad design as they have a bad taste in Art but no one can do anything taste is personal you can't force it.

In the brand new Site the search can't work with tags so the result is to have to see thousands of files in order to find what you are looking.

 

As for the sample Poll go ahead do an Official one and take the results now, don't start changing things and after come back and say yes we can make a Poll !!

 

p.s. Yes I am against changes which doesn't improve.

I hate the new design, it looks like some crap that I'd expect on a tablet.

 

I'm adding this comment because I saw that someone posted something along the lines of "There are x million users and almost none of them are complaining so the new layout must be fine."

 

More likely, most of those users just don't care to post their opinion.

 

Lastly, please switch back to the old layout, or at least allow us to check and choose a preference in our account info for which layout we'd like to be using.

I tend to agree with the post below mine. this newer design is really a pain in the butt. It was a lot EASIER with the old layout. I tried the new design when it was first available. then ignored and avoided the new layout option after the first time I tried it. I cant find anything i'm looking for now. don't know where to click on things anymore. please go back to what you had before or at least give us the option to run the old layout.

And you pretty much broke it. Heck, I'm typing this from Old Nexus, because that site is decent in appearance, and gets the job done 100%.
Meanwhile, new nexus is disgustingly modern, and not practical at all.

If this is a site for users (which it is) let us have a vote in how it works. It would only be fair.

Also, there was some poll around here. Not even 100 of y'all could be bothered to say no, and there's at least 5mil people on this website, vast majority seemingly not bothered enough by this website to even care to say anything.
Most of the old website elements are in similar places in the new layout; if you can't find them get someone to help you.

wish I knew there was a poll, since I would have voted NO on the new layout. but I never saw anything about a poll just "come try the new layout".

You really have the gall to say "if you can't find them get someone to help you"? you might as well have said to f*ck off!!
Then you say it wasn't even an official poll? so where was an official poll for us users to even give you feedback? Here?
Seems this new layout is NOW getting a LOT of BAD REVIEWS.
You can say there's x amount of people using it and not complaining . but to be honest here so far i have not seen 1, not even 1 good comment about this new layout yet. so that has to tell you something doesn't it?
Think about this a moment if there is 1 complaint then at least 10 others feel the same and just don't say anything or do anything. Same goes for good comments. that is basic economics 101. so if you have 50 people complaining then it stands to reason that there are at least 500 people who feel the same and just don't do anything about it and just deal with it if they even bother to stay.
So, just how many people are really complaining and you just don't know it? or aren't listening to?
This was a great site the way it was and I am NOT happy with the new layout and angry about how you are handling the flack for it.

THERE WAS NO OFFICIAL POLLING. It was just a random making some poll up in a very poor attempt to instigate some nonsense. It carried and still carries 0 validity.
