I NEED HELP FAST RIGHT NOW THIS IS EMERGENCY!

i bought skyrim special edition 9 month ago and i never had problems with modding but now i have like alot of problems.

 

the first problem is when i install and activate mods using nmm they disable themselves when i enter the game so i have to go to the mods ingame and enabling them like 50 mods.

 

the second is i have ctd all the time (when i go to inventory or searching)

 

the third some mods wont work right.

 

number forth some meshes of mod weapons are missing.

I thought someone had stabbed you when I looked at the title. But with that error log it could go both ways lol

 

To my limited knowledge a property is a reference within a script, so perhaps you are missing a lot of scripts. But I don't know for sure. :confused:

first of all , for future reference , it's really recommended to put load orders and logs in spoiler tags

that way you don't have a post the length of the bible , and people can actually look through it properly

 

as for your problem , we are missing quite a bit of information

the most basic sort of problems result from lack of knowledge of the mod user

this can be due to not understanding the modding process , not reading the descriptions of mods before downloading and installing them , not getting all requirements of mods , and so on

so , we really need to understand what you have done , how you've installed your mods , and your knowledge in regards to modding

also , it would help if we knew when the problems began , and what has changed , to try and discover the source of the issues

have you changed any mods recently? changed your load order? how long have you been using these mods?

You are on the Legendary Edition ( Oldrim) forums. The troubleshooting forum for SSE is here https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/4060-skyrim-special-edition-mod-troubleshooting/ While some of the problems can be the same for both, SSE has its own "bonus events" and you may have better luck over there since not everyone plays it yet. You may have a mod that was not ported over properly and those that play it regularly may recognize your problem faster.

i been using mods for 1 year perfectly load order and stuff

i got this problem when i got my gaming laptop.

 

When i had PC i had no issues

 

 

HELLO THERE! HERE'S MY TWO CENTS.

 

 

1. If you're installed all these mods on your Laptop now, you've probably screwed up while installing a specific one... missing requirements and such maybe. Check the mod descriptions, some are very specific on what they need, some need little ini tweaks before they work.

 

2. Try LOOT to sort your load order again.

 

3. Let us know what you've already tried to fix the problem.

 

3. That "everything worked perfectly" argument is invalid because unless you've cloned your disk it's probably your fault (see point 1.)

1. Did you run LOOT?

2. Did you run WryeBash? I'm guessing there's a lot of orange and red boxes...
3. I can tell you right now it's a botched install, or, we can continue through the motions...

4. Did you run TESVEdit to test for incompatibilities?

5. NMM's final version is 0.63.17. You should be using that and nothing else. This will hopefully fix your mods-disabling glitch.
6. SKSE just came out with a patch for the latest runtime for Skyrim SE. Use it.

7. Moderators, can you please move this thread for this gentleman/lady to the SE forums? We'll chalk it up to first-timer syndrome.
8. Spoiler tags [ spoiler ] yourtexthere [ /spoiler ] Just take the spaces out between the brackets.

9. Papyrus logs are only useful so far. Place them in separate spoiler tags. We need to know how you installed the mods. Missing properties means something overwrote the scripts, and that only happens if you install something over the top of something else, and then hit Yes To All when asked in NMM if you want to overwrite.
10. And I can't emphasize this enough. Back me up on this, guys. Modding Skyrim is like juggling fine china. Like dozens of pieces of china at the same time. You say you've been modding a year. Great! I've been modding 4! Still screw up more often than not. Welcome to modding. One year of modding means nothing. Hell, ten years of modding only means you make less mistakes than you used to. Even Elianora herself (bow, ye dogs! *cracks whip* Bow, I say!) will tell you she still screws stuff up, and then she has to do what we all have to do. Troubleshoot. The difference is, she's been doing it long enough to know the proper questions to ask to get to where she needs to go. Knowing the right questions to ask is half the learning curve for modding skyrim.

I mean, seriously, it can be done, but...why? Laptops are finicky, and Skyrim is finicky. And when you put two finicky things together, you don't get less finicky results. Overheating, lack of CPU horsepower...need I go on?

 

Hopefully, the first few questions will get you to a point where you can ask the right questions. "Ah, so this is showing as an error, so that means that is the cause, and I now know I should be asking about that instead."
