BartSnow
Hi, I was wondering is there a tweak for GTX 1070, that would eliminate lod textures flickering?
JimmyRJump
Has nothing to do with your GPU but with scrapping/deleting objects that normally shouldn't be scrapped/deleted. When the game tries to render objects that are no longer present you get LOD flicker. Only remedy is using the No More Disappearing Act mod. Covers about the whole game, with some exceptions. BartSnow
ok, but its most visible on the tallest buildings of Boston, so I guess this mod won't help with that.
chucksteel
Your actually asking about the z fighting you see in the distance right? That's how I took your question not the occlusion culling caused by scrapping objects that should not be scrappable. If so I don't really think you'll find a mod to fix the issue. I see this kind of thing on the shudders of smaller wood frame buildings and downtown buildings in the distance. I don't know about the downtown stuff because I've never looked into it but, the Shudders flickering is due to they actually are z fighting in the models themselves. (way to go Beth! :wallbash: ) I tried to fix them early on but Pre-Combined meshes prevent wide spread mesh replacement so I gave up because I wasn't regenerating for every cell that had the issue. BartSnow
thanks, another question: is any setting in nvidia control panel could be responsible for flickering textures in a short distant, floors, walls, signs etc?
