doctercorgi
I cleared out the settlement and its telling me to talk to the settlers at oberland station again. The problem is that objective is greyed out and no settlers have a marker above their heads, none of them say anything ether. Any console commands to help me fix this s***? Pretty sure this save is messed up, why cant i ever play this game without crap like this happening? I could not reset it, or complete it or change stage through commands so I guess im starting a new game for like the 20th time. JimmyRJump
There have been problems with Oberland since the release of the game, but usually due to mods interfering. If and when you are using settlement mods (I mean mods that add settlements to the game) then open your PipBoy and check if there's any Commonwealth entries in the settlement list. If you have one (or more) then you should uninstall all mods that add settlements and re-add them one by one as you go along and discover the game's original settlements. The problem is that, when adding a badly made settlement through a mod, the Commonwealth entry will only appear after you've discovered the "bad" settlement, so, it might take some time... Been using that mod since it was released and never had any problems with it. It must be a glitch in the game then. Had that with Oberland Station, Croup Manor and Nordhagen Beach in my first couple of runs without any mods installed. Later I had the no-response glitch at the Somerville Place, for no good reason...

Maybe he means https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25237/?tab=2&navtag=%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D25237 ? which clearly states to make sure you have cleared the settlement, aka finish the quests before activating the mod for an area.
