iXenite
Does the game perform well? I can't imagine that your PC has suddenly switched to integrated graphics. You're using a desktop right? I ask because there are RX 580 mobile chips.

iXenite
That's what I thought. So what's the performance like? When in-game just hit Shift+TAB and then navigate to the In-Game tab of the Steam Overlay. Look for the FPS counter and then turn it on. Load into the game and see what performance is like. To make this process as fast as possible, when at the main menu of the game just open the console by hitting ~ on your keyboard. Type in coc riverwood into the console and hit enter. Run around for a while to get some performance metrics. Make sure Godrays are off. I'm not sure if they are as demanding in Special Edition as they are in Fallout 4, but they are an Nvidia technology and should be off on an AMD card just to make sure you get the best frames possible. JimmyRJump
Launcher does not detect my RX 580 gpuStrange. It does detect my RX470. Even the Oblivion game detects it (GOTY edition), although with Oblivion I got a "GPU not recognised" message upon first launch, but when selecting "Options" in the game's launch menu my GPU is filled out in the "Graphics Adapter and Resolution" box... charbriar91
Did you ever find a fix for this? Just got an RX580 and SSE Steam launcher won't auto-detect.
