Platton
Here is the new Rural Architecture of Issgard Common Villagers , the rural country homes are more inspired to old European huts common also to the vikings and many other cultures of the european ancient history . All these buildings look great. The armors look also great. http://www.landoffirstcontact.ca/files/site_media/Viking%20site_27_thumb.jpg So all these buildings and armor and creatures look great, but i'am a bit concerned that there will some big mistakes happen when it comes to logic. For example it makes no sense to me to lead a stair down to the docks, where have crates and stuff needs to get transportet from, instead of a road. Or that modders over and over place a windmill behind a wall, or in the woods, or elsewhere instead of the most likely place where it could be, the top of a hill. Or placeing trees right by the city wall. By the way are you still looking for help of any kind?
WLionheart
@PROMETHEUS_ts well what I got to hear there from the English translations was that he lived there with his entire family, occasionally some other peoples but that's all I know about it.The new castle looks great Edited July 14, 2013 by William Lionheart

Don't worry , all windmills are outside of city and the docks do have an argan to rise stuff from the port up to the upper city .
PrometheusTS
I am toying with the idea of Replacing the actual ancient nordic ( vanilla ) set I used for the capital Varheim with the new wall sets posted above , the city woudl change look and look more medievalish and "new" as well , but woudl loose the new built on ancient feel , Surely though I will keep all the main Ancient nord stuff like statues , bridge, and some other things , but it might be drastic change to make it look more new and medieval unique , what do you think? eventually the two cities beneficing from this upgrade coudl be the ones of Varheim and Brynnvick , or I could just keep the varheim one as is and eventually make a new kind of polygonal wall set , but not sure how woudl turn out yet . PrometheusTS
Here is a Test Replacement of the old Nord Vanilla Walls , and my Vanilla nord vanilla oriented towers with the new Castle architecture ... Kraeten
The new assets look terrific, but the style doesn't quite appear consistent with the rough Norse houses. I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to this sort of thing though, so don't take my critique too seriously.
PrometheusTS
The nird houses us see there are outside stepfarms , the houses of that city are behind the walls...
Kraeten
Oh, so there's a different style then behind the walls. Well in that case consider my critique irrelevant if you haven't already. :P
PrometheusTS
Well you can see the style in the other small buildings and roofs , some are visible near walls .Here is a comparative picture on how it is with the Vanilla walls ...http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/8120/7zp8.jpg
megazogg
IMO old walls looks more fitting, as with them the settlement feels really "ancient", which it is supposed to be by your own lore. But anyway it is look terrific! Edited July 24, 2013 by megazogg
