The forums haven't been changed at all. If you're talking about the Nexus site, then put 'old.' in front of the url (e.g. old.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/).

Thanks for that tip about getting to the old layout by using OLD in the url. It should be prominently posted on every MODS page banner.

BTW, concur with OP... the new layout is atrocious.

thanks.

I wonder what is the point of the new tile design? I noticed that many forums are switching to such * twitter tapes *, it's just disgusting.

Agreed. Clearly it's a concession to people who confuse their telephone with a computer. Sign of the times.

I totally agree with u guys. Hope they realize their mistake someday and bring back the old one.

But I would also appreciate if they could integrate a setting option on everyones profile, so all users could decide for themselves to turn the new design on or off.

Absolutely zero confusion. My phone *is* a computer. In fact, my phone is a much more powerful computer than the one on which I played my first "computer" game.

The percentage of people using their phones to access the Nexus is already a plurality, and heading to be a majority. The Nexus is not limiting things to "mobile", simply adapting in ways that accommodate what users are actually doing.

Keep in mind that access to the old site is temporary; it won't be around forever as just an option for people to use. Eventually, the old site will be retired and everyone will have to move over to the new layout.

Story of my life forced to move over to something inferior in the name of "progress" Progress actually used to mean that.
