toastydoom
Hi, so I'm just a little curious today. What programs do advanced modders use to make mods? I know that something simple like a new weapon or player home can be made in the Creating Kit for Fallout 4, but I'm not really talking about those mods as much. I mean for mods that really change the fundamentals of the game, like ArmorSmith, Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch, things that get more into the actual coding of the game. I understand this isn't just something an average player can do, these guys probably have degrees in computer programming and have spent years doing what they do. I'm just curious, what are some of the resources used to make these masterpieces? Thank you!
blackninja50
Well from my modding experience the more complex mods get the more tools you need. It's not like there's this special tool for high end modding, mostly you just have learned how to do more with what you have. Some vary complex mods have been made with just FO4Edit.
