hybridfan
What the hell, poor old Bethesda, hope they are looking into this very seriously :(
worm82075
Developers of Limbo of the Lost have finally found their lawyers. Here's their official reply.. Though I've wondered, how can you steal from so many good games and still make such a crap product? That's like turning gold into lead...and stealing it. Their response is even more laughable than the game itself. I mean really do they honestly expect us to believe that they had no knowledge that what they were doing was wrong or that the material used was questionable. Give me a f***ing break. I had a look at Steve Bolvis's profile on the wintermute forums and he was there the day the sh** hit the fan so he knew what was going on he just didn't respond. Now he comes back from a "leave" and plays dumb. There were only three guys working on this game, how could any of them not know?
Sarya
I saw the ending "cinematic" of this game today on Youtube. My boyfriend refused to give me the sound though. Judging from his reaction - and the movie - I should be really grateful to him for that. For God's sake, what were they smoking, I wonder?
helzi
And they thought nobody would notice? They didn't just copy the level layouts, they copied the whole thing! Textures and everything! This is awful, they should know something like this isn't going to go undetected.
RegentEagle
I think this may be true as I have just seen one of the trailers at IGN and I am sure in one bit there is guy who looks A LOT like Kratos from God of War sitting in a throne.

I saw this article at kotaku today and I can't help but wonder how much more contradictory evidence exists. As they say, "the internet never forgets". At this point, it will be interesting to see just how many companies will decide to take legal action against the guilty party. Of course, if no one sues them, I guess I can go ahead and write that script for my "Star Battles" movie.
nosisab
The only sure thing in this whole mess is publisher/developers really wanting the history coming "Lost in the Limbo"
Blacksnake89
Quote from the developers:"Limbo of the Lost is a project that has been molded and crafted for over ten years." So obviously, it was Oblivion that stole the assets from them. People are getting this completely wrong. The game definatly looks like it's been in the works for 10 years. I saw a video of the game on youtube that was linked from this thread. The game looks like it might have been good if it was released in 1998. Cynster
 I bet the "artists" had a good laugh. The publisher/developers' response sounded really half assed xD Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be some kind of elaborate hoax for publicity. How could anyone in a video game developing company not recognize the copyrighted material? For someone who's been working on it for 10 years and being oh so persnickity about the point and click game, you'd think he'd recognize the drastic graphics change.
