my little rant.. this is unacceptable! nexus lag

ok.. im sorry :( but this is a little rant.. i feel like i have to say something about this so hear it is :( iv gotten to the point where i want the cash i payed for premium back.. but look.. i love this site :) i do but.. so far i feel like i have free dial up 5kbs internet when ever i enter this site.. down loads ether take hours.. to download like some thing as small as 20mb.. or don't even download.. as they fail or i get some error.. some times this site works and its amazing :) but.. i have 3mbs internet im fine with any other site.. iv even payed for the premium package.. but yet most of the time i cant down load anything with out super slow lag from this site pls.. for the love of god!.. fix your god dam site nexus.. im not only one getting this lag.. the forums are full ppl like me talking about lag and failed downloads.. this is unacceptable!

I'm sorry you're experiencing slow download speeds.

Your download speed can be affected by a number of issues, including your distance from the servers, your ISP's particular connection to the file servers and many local variables. We have dedicated servers in 3 different geographic locations and 2 continents on 3 different ISPs around the world as well as a global CDN with POP locations in every single continent.

As a Premium Member you have the option to pick which of these servers you download from. Please try them all. If every single one of those server options is slow for you, it's very likely to be something to do with your connection and/or ISP's link-up to the wider world network, rather than something to do with ours.

As you only became a Premium Member today you are entitled to our free refund without any questions asked (up to 15 days after purchase). If for some reason none of the Premium Servers work adequately for you and you bought Premium specifically for the download speeds then please use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page to ask for a refund, which I will be happy to do.

Just wanted to follow-up with a similar issue without creating another thread. I'll post the template below, however the gist of the issue seems to revolve around downloading with NMM. I assume there is no throttle in place for excessive downloads, however I should note that I have downloaded 2 "heavily modded" sets for Fallout 4 over the past 3 days. Both went as expected for a heavily modded game, and I'm now starting from scratch.

Problem Details

Approxmiately 30m prior to this post, downloads were giving me 0kb archive files downloading manually. Tried the linked test download and it magically worked again. Tried DEF_UI 1.4.3 manually and it successfully downloaded the full file. Tried DEF_UI 1.4.3 again through NMM and am still receiving "throttled" download speed. As I noted above, I have extensively modded FO4 over the past two days (Once via NMM, once via Mod Organizer 2) with no issues downloading through the mod managers. Each time I started over with clean installs of NMM, MO2, Fallout 4, etc.

 

EDIT: Wanted to update an issue I am having downloading manually. The download test link still works fine, however I am downloading "empty" 0kb archives again. Does not matter what file. DEF_UI 1.4.3, Looks Menu, etc...
