M48A5 Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 As reported in the March 2012 Readers Digest, "....DARPA, the Pentagon's advanced technology division, is devising a lightweight , battery-operated rig called the Warrior Web. Outfitted with a network of miniature sensors that enable the body to protect itself, the suit will automatically reinforce key body joints to help prevent injury as well as support overworked muscles." This is in the work now. Here is the link to the proposal:https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=334549c67c237d5192009580fe8b7099&tab=core&_cview=0.
