JoeOGrant
I see underwater just fine. And I use a water mod. Thank you for your input! It is greatly constructive! Seriously though, you sound like an ***, you're basically saying that his problem is irrelevant because it doesn't affect you. Just because someone gives less than helpful criticism doesn't mean you get to break the rules and become what you called him. Lucky you...you get a warning. Everyone else, Please try to be more helpful.~Lisnpuppy
NoobusExtremus
Thank you for your input! It is greatly constructive! Seriously though, you sound like an ass, you're basically saying that his problem is irrelevant because it doesn't affect you. Actually, you sound like an ass. The OP stated "so now all i see is ether a grey or black screen under water... Freaking awesome". No details: vid card (model, driver version), CPU, RAM, if he's using custom lighting mods like ENB or any of the other ones out there, etc, etc. He seems to not want any help and just wanted to vent like a little child. My input merely pointed out that the patch didn't affect me or the water mod I use. Most likely it's fine for many other people too. Just read through some of the other "Patch 1.5 fooked up my Skyrim!!! Fix it, Beth!" posts out there. Sometimes it's a conflicting mod. Sometimes it's a vid card driver or setting. To come here and post what he did, what kind of responses or help would you give him? Oh yeah, you didn't give any useful input - you chose to attack me instead - greatly constructive. thompsonar
Yeah I've heard of 1.5 messing up the water. I bet it's some conflicting mod and suggest deactivating any that have anything to do with water first, then trying out the rest until you find the one that's causing the problem. I just updated to the new patch yesterday with no problems at all. I like the new underwater effect, looks kinda cool. But I'm not using any water mods whatsoever. Some may work fine with the patch, some might not.
Elsarian
I started out with the vanilla water when I got the patch and it was working pretty well. Then I found the new W.A.T.E.R mod that has been in the hotfiles for some time, and decided that it was pretty badass and had to have it. Now, after installing the mod, there are just a few bodies of water than mess up here and there. I think the mod was actually released a little before the 1.5 patch came round. But the mess ups aren't very frequent, so it doesn't bother me so much. I am just going to sit back and wait for a version to be released that is tailored to the patch. mwein
I'm just barely scraping by technically and probably way over my head with the mod additions, so I got excited when I saw the OP. Unfortunately, I'm having the same issue and ask, most humbly so as to not upset anyone (see earlier posts) if anyone has successfully dealt with this by deactivating mods and, if so, which ones? That would be a constructive response. Thanks so much. Ps. I'm running this on a standard Intel DualCore iMac partition, so no fancy cards and I haven't messed with any graphics settings. I have no mods that modify water. Edited March 26, 2012 by mwein
Deleted1308005User
MAN! Remove d9ll file from skyrim folder. That solved problem for me.Its added by mod, so you won't ruin anything by deleting it. Also, didn't read earlier comments. Edit.its dll9 or something like that, can't remember exactly. Edited March 26, 2012 by Guest

CrazyCat008
Well, that kill all my visual effects ( mods ) but it's work. ^^; EDIT: Actually if I understand right it's the ENB who f***** the game underwater. I presume the best I can do it's wait for some change. ^^; Edited March 27, 2012 by CrazyCat008
