Welcome to the discussion thread for It's A Supernatural Life the first on Nexus forums Supernatural Roleplay. Here, you can introduce your characters and discuss OOC and other this RP related things.

 

As some of you may have already guessed this Roleplay is going to be based on amazing TV series by the same title, Supernatural.

The action of this RP takes place in real world; United States to be more specific. The year is 2008 (same year when the 4th season started airing) so the Roleplay starts during the events of Season 4.

 

For the people who never watched these TV series, here you will find what each season is about.

 

The best source of information for those who had no idea that TV series like Supernatural even exists is Supernatural Wiki.

 

Rules:

The most important rule is; please follow and respect rules of Nexus forums! Now let's get to the rules of this Roleplay.

 

1. I won't be strict when it comes to characters. You can be a helpless victim, hunter or a being that hunters usually hunt. Just don't combine them into a new epic being that nothing can kill or harm it.

 

2. Please don't change the lore of supernatural beings to your liking.

 

3. Taking the roles of characters that are already in the series no matter how much you love/hate them is not allowed. But that doesn't mean you can't mention them or that your character doesn't know them.

 

4. The original timeline of the RP was the year 2008, it was moved to 2012.

 

5. NO GODMODDING. For example; your character can't be a demon which can't be harmed by the holy water or can't be trapped inside Devil's trap. Or: powerful Gods knows how years old witch that uses magic to become the president or steal people and force them to work in his/her secret potato fields on Mars.

 

6. No strong sexual content. Take it to private messages if you wish, just don't post it in the RP itself.

 

7. Archangels, angels, white-eyed demons, Leviathans, demigods or any other kind of Gods are not allowed. The beings by their very nature are too OP.

Here's the example of the character sheet. :happy:

 

Name: July Nightwing (Not the real name obviously)

 

Age: 22 years old

 

Appearance: July is a rather attractive girl with long black hair and dark blue piercing eyes. On her right wrist she has an anti-possesion tattoo. (Link)

 

Clothing: July is always dressed in black. Usually it's combat boots, black jeans, old and worn T-Shirt of some sort of metal or rock band and long black leather coat.

 

Weapons: Smith & Wesson Model 4006 pistol, a Pump-action shotgun and a silver hunting knife.

 

Background: When July was 12 years old her parents were killed by demons, her older brother which at the time was 19 years old became a hunter and taught his little sister everything he knew. When July was 17 she was gravely injured while hunting a shapeshifter, to save her the brother made a deal with a Crossroads demon but got only 2 years. July failed to save him and when her brother died she was hunting the demon ever since.

 

Personality: July is a rather quiet person, tends to keep things to herself, is not very social and usually prefers to work alone. Yet despite the tragedies and dangerous lifestyle she has good sense of humor and is always willing to help. July loves classical rock and metal and old cars.

Name: Amy Spencer

 

Age: 24

 

Appearance: A very attractive woman with bleached blonde hair and a beautiful face, she prefers lighter makeup like pinks and beige.

 

Clothing: She usually wears designer dresses and shoes, which are very high.

 

Weapons: A Pistol, a hidden knife.

 

Background: A wealthy British woman born into a lot of cash, she lives in a huge house and drives a very expensive car, when she was young her family were killed by an unknown cause... demons. she lives a normal, but luxurious life. Secretly hunting demons when they show up.

 

Personality: an aloof but friendly isolationist, who prefers her own company that anyone elses, she dislikes people but can get along just fine with them when needs be.

Here's mine:

 

Name: Raven

 

Age: 30

 

Appearance: Raven has long, straight, very dark brown hair (which she keeps in a braid), grey eyes, and a tan complexion. She also has an angular face and a large build for a female.

 

Clothing: She usually wears plaid, button-up shirts tucked into blue jeans, with a pair of brown cowboy boots and a leather jacket to match. Sometimes she wears a black cowboy hat.

 

Weapons: A Ruger Vaquero single action revolver, a hunting knife, a crossbow, and a whip.

 

Background: Raven has always been interested in the paranormal, ever since she saw ghosts as a girl. When she caught rumors of demons surfacing in the world, she became a hunter, deciding to put her knowledge to good use. For the past five years she has tracked and killed demons across the United States. Raven has always come away from her encounters barely alive, and yet she continues to hunt. She can only wonder when her luck will run out.

 

Personality: She is mostly reserved, but opens up when you get to know her. Raven has a very dry sense of humor and a dislike for people in general. However, she realizes that the demon problem isn't getting any better, and she is looking for someone to watch her back.

Hope you girls don't mind I already posted a bit of the exorcism spell in the RP thread. Thought I posted the thing here earlier but it seems not. I chose the one that Sam recited in Jus in Bello. :unsure:
