Missing Render Window from Creation Kit

So I'm missing the render window and I can't figure how to get it back. I sat down to work on it and noticed it missing. I've gone over most settings and can't figure whats going on.

 

I've uninstalled and re installed twice

I've hit F5

 

I'm using ATI Catalyst Suite 21.3

 

I have a screenshot on how it loads

edit: I even just downgraded to ATI Catalyst Suite 21.1

here is my problem

Stab in the dark. Got to File/ Preferences/ Render Window. Make sure "Allow Render Window Cell Loads" is checked. Check also in misc tab all mine except auto save are checked. If that doesn't work then no idea.

Maybe it's just off screen, open up SkyrimEditorPrefs.ini (it's in the \Skyrim directory NOT \users) and look for something like

 

Render Window X=866

Render Window Y=193

 

If the values are too big then the render window will be somewhere off the right or bottom of your screen.

Omg I love you! That fixed my issue. I guess it was still saving the setting from my old laptop which had larger screen resolution.

i have the render window for the cell (the one on the start up, the one that youre missing) except when i go to object the render screen on the side stays grey even though i select preview

I need to bookmark this, it has helped me so many infuriating times when my cell view has gone missing and I couldn't find the right prefs folder.
