NMM Import Not Working & Confusing Conflicts

Just to experiment while at the same time time not accidently getting in WAY over my head I decided to use Vortex on Dragon Age Origins, a game I haven't played in years so I don't care too much if i accidently break it lol plus I only have a few mods. Now I'm not very good at modding (Beyond what I learn from Gopher's videos lol.) At any rate unless I'm missing something the NMM import tool keeps telling me "No Mod Install Found With Mods For This Game" so I decided to give up on that one for now & just download them one at a time, install/enable them & they all spit out conflicts. I think "Ok whatever, surely NOW the import tool will work right? Maybe it just imports the settings? Nope. So I go about trying to figure this out & do it the hard way, see which two mods are using the same file make one of the two more important (since none of them say anything about conflicts) then wash, rinse & repeat. Then after doing this a couple times I notice they are all conflicting over the same single file "manifest.xml" (mod list below) now here is where I'm confused, if it were two i could experiment & see what works, but WTF am I supposed to do with this? "

Mods Are In Spoiler Tag

----------

Character Respec

Extra Dog Slot

Lock Bash

Madd Gift Guide

Skip The Fade

Golden Egg

Golden Egg Awakening (Installed but not enabled until playing Awaking)

The only thing I did was put Golden Egg Before Golden Egg Awakening & tried to put Character Respec before everything then i noticed the file. BTW, the Pics show basically what I've said (although with WAY fewer words lol) unless they show something I didn't mention. Also, as I said the conflict in image #2 is exactly the same no matter which i click on.

Edit: Ok, now a whole NEW confusion, after posting this i closed vortex & nexus the reopened vortex to look at something and there was no conflicts at all. So I decided to see if the import toll was working with another rarely played game Dragon Age 2 (nope) it acted like it WANTED to throw conflicts at me it said it needed to elevate the mod or something but with only 1 mod, no conflicts possible lol. when i switch back to dao i have the conflicts again, close vortex dao said none go to da2 & back conflicts are back.

As of today 03/30/19, I don't think Vortex is useful for DAO. I haven't seen any announcement that it works yet and I have been watching for it. The developer has been working on the issue since November, 2018, according to an earlier post in this forum, but I don't think the problem has been resolved yet. If you can, stick to the Nexus Mod Manager for DAO for now and Vortex for other games. In January, 2019, I downloaded Vortex, and thinking to save some disk space, deleted NMM and all the mods I had there. I made a list and then imported all my favorite DAO mods to Vortex. Spent a solid week resolving conflicts before trying to play my game. Nope, not happening. I spent the next two weeks working with EA trying to figure out what was wrong with my game -- all of the DLCs were missing, none of the mods were there, and the game could not load. Uninstall, reinstall, system diagnostics, etc., the whole 9 yards, and nothing worked. I then realized the issue started after I loaded Vortex and tried to use it for the mods -- I know, dumb mistake not to have figured out that might be the problem earlier. Once I deleted VORTEX, my game was back and playable! However, all of my saved games are basically lost because my NMM mods were gone. Vortex looks to be a great product, eventually; but not yet.
