spyvspyaeon
Hi there, First of all, this is a pretty amazing and easygoing tool, i am loving it. (I know it's not finished but still lots of questions). Only knowing that this is a new MM I took the step to install and migrate my content from NMM. WOW I took 15 minutes to do all!!! (I have tons of installed mods), all worked well!!! not a single issue!!But Script extender seems to be not compatible. Before the migration from NMM to Vortex I had my F4SE updated to V. 6.6(latest) because o FO4 update, I did it, tested before and worked pretty well!! After the migration Im having a painful nightmare to dig this. What I notice is that the top left button (fo4 launcher), uses the fallout4.exe and does not have option to point that start button to an alternative launcher (maybe because it is not compatible or not dev yet). I did a test switching off the launchers name and creating the f4se.ini file pointing to the f4 launcher (tested and f4se laucher now runs) but seems to be not working, looksmenu stop working (new version installed, after the update), ENB mod that use f4se, same nok. I noticed that everytime I did that run in different clients, the vortex created different "profiles" i guess, at least 3 different folders in the "saves" folder. Mess up a bit because I thought I lost my entire list of saves.. lol * not sure if that is possible, but allowing to use to change the game launcher (to use same profile id) whatever launcher u need to run.Couple of suggestions (simple things that could make things easier for newbie users like me). * on the mods list (please put a search box) - (ie I have a few mods, but a lot of dependencies). * on the NMM we had that option of see the dev comments and snaps, on the selected mod (this is the top feature I used on NMM). only the name (nexus mod does not have a pattern of names), scripts names it's even confusing. * Not sure why but sometimes I enter the Vortex and all my plugins are inactive. It's a random "issue".pretty neat the UI!!Thanks a lot!!

On the Dashboard, click the "ADD TOOL" button, navigate to the F4SE_Launcher.exe in your Fallout 4 folder. Now, the new box next to Fallout 4 on the dashboard should say F4SE (If you titled the launcher button that) Now click the 3 vertical dots in the box with F4SE (Or whatever you labeled it) now pick "MAKE PRIMARY"Now the game can be launched from the PLAY button that is in the F4SE box (or whatever you labeled it) Is that what you were looking for? spyvspyaeon
Hi there, Thanks for the reply, yes that's it, sry didn't noticed that option and that switch the launcher. In fact worked pretty well. Thanks!! About the organization I just realize, after install some mods via nexus site that the imported mods from NMM came with the metadata basically in the title (that's why I told that it was confusing lol). mods cames with title+nexus id+version. I noticed that it's possible to edit the meta data and correct the info manually and I did. Specially the mods link ID's (otherwise I assume I won't receive auto updates from those mods). About the "mess up" with the profiles, I just copied the saves to all of them since I don't have a cute of what is what lol and was created by the Vortex saves folders with names like "BJLoFsPdM" lol
