jstgtpaid
First off I am impressed with the design and work on this project. Excellent job! I currently have 51 mods in NMM. I recently uninstalled NMM, removed all my mods and started over. i previously had 130+ mods. I also upgraded NMM to 0.64.1 from github. I have installed Vortex and wanted to import the 51 mods I currently have in NMM. When I press the import from NMM button it displays the correct instance of NMM (only one is displayed.) The file location listed is correct and the 51 mods are located in that file location. So, I press Setup. On the next screen it lists many mods that are not in the current instance of NMM. I am not sure where it is getting the information about those mods, but it is certainly not from my current install of NMM. i don't know if this is a bug and I fully understand most folks have not upgraded their NMM and purged old mods. So mine may be a rather rare circumstance. In any case, is there a place I can look to see where it is getting the list of old mods? Thanks for your time. I am quite confused ... you said that you want to "import" mods from NMM to Vortex ? On the contrary, you want to import mods using Vortex ... "Import from NMM" in the Mods Tab .... is that what you wanted ?

"Import from NMM" in the Mods Tab .... is that what you wanted ? I don't understand the confusion. He wan't to import from NMM to Vortex. What's wrong with that? As to the question:NMM creates directories here: C:\Users\Tannin\AppData\Local\Black_Tree_GamingI'm not quite sure when/how NMM creates new directories there but each of these directories (like NexusClient.exe_Url_qwuhlvf40jhjaimg4wf4fsq2didfn3ne) contains subdirectories for different NMM versions and each of those contains an xml file called "user.config" which contains paths to where NMM stores mods.Vortex will parse all those files to determine which NMM instances there are and where they are. jstgtpaid
Thank you, Tannin. That empowered me to find the problem; My NMM virtualInstall folder contained old mods and was not in sync with the mods in the NMM mod folder. I don't know how that happened, but that was it. **Edit** I took care of the NMM corruption and have since used the import from NMM in Vortex. It worked flawlessly. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
