Heppai Posted March 10, 2018 Share Posted March 10, 2018 (edited) This is a little bit of a rant, but I've spent my entire day off attempting to make Mod organizer work. Ive read many forums on how Mod Organizer makes your life easier and such. However I have NEVER had it work for me! NMM has always worked and even though it wasnt as convenient, I'm regretting wasting my time here. My issue is that I'm facing error after error. Either its DynDOLOD (cant find DynDOLOD Resources even though its properly installed PER GP), Java (Im getting all kinds of memory errors or load dumps), or executables (Because of Java, my executables get removed or they dont save). I'm trying to run fnis right now as an EXE and it says, "failed to inject dll into GenerateFinisforUsers.exe" failed to access thread contex. Please note that Mod Organizer does not support 64 bit binaries! (The Parameter is not correct. 87)" This sounds like another Java issue. To that, I've downloaded the 32 bit, uninstalled, reinstalled the 64 bit. Im past frustrated and I dont know what to do. I have to run shortcuts to get around this because nothing works! Ive been a supporter for many years Nexus. Can you please help me? = Check ModsThis is a report on your currently active/merged mods. === Active Mod Files:* 00 Skyrim.esm* 01 Update.esm* 02 Dawnguard.esm* 03 HearthFires.esm* 04 Dragonborn.esm* 05 Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp [Version 3.0.12]* 06 Skyrim Project Optimization - Full Version.esm* 07 Falskaar.esm* 08 hdtHighHeel.esm* 09 Lanterns Of Skyrim - All In One - Main.esm* 0A Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm* 0B Campfire.esm* 0C daymoyl.esm* 0D Cutting Room Floor.esp [Version 2.0.8]* 0E NARC.esp* ++ AnotherSortingMod-2016.esp* 0F RLO - Interiors.esp* 10 RLO - CRF Patch.esp* 11 RLO - Effects.esp* 12 mintylightningmod.esp* 13 SkyUI.esp* 14 UIExtensions.esp* 15 AddItemMenu2.esp* 16 Falskaar Wildlife.esp* 17 LegacyoftheDragonborn.esp* 18 Purity.esp* 19 RLO - Exteriors.esp* 1A TrueStorms.esp* ++ TrueStorms-PureWeather.esp* ++ Supreme Storms.esp* ++ TrueStorms-SupremeStorms-Vanilla.esp* ++ Supreme Fog.esp* 1B Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp* 1C fallentreebridges.esp* 1D SMIM-DragonbornTernFix.esp* ++ SMIM-DungeonsCliffsIceSkirts.esp* 1E SMIM-FarmhouseFlickeringFix.esp* 1F CinematicFireFX.esp* ++ RLO - Illuminated Spells.esp* 20 Frostfall.esp* 21 CCO - Permanent Birthsigns.esp* 22 Morning Fogs.esp* 23 RaceMenu.esp* 24 RaceMenuPlugin.esp* 25 dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.esp* 26 FNIS.esp* 27 VioLens.esp [Version 2.11]* 28 SSAssist.esp* 29 SOS - Smurf Average Addon.esp* 2A SOS - VectorPlexus Muscular Addon.esp* 2B SOS - VectorPlexus Regular Addon.esp* 2C KS Hairdos - HDT.esp* 2D HelmetToggle.esp* 2E Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp* 2F daymoyl_DawnguardAddon.esp* 30 Guard Dialogue Overhaul.esp* 31 Skyrim Flora Overhaul.esp* 32 Weapons & Armor Fixes_Remade.esp* ++ Weapons & Armor_TrueWeaponsLvlLists.esp* 33 Immersive Weapons.esp* 34 Schlongs of Skyrim.esp* 35 WeaponsArmorFixes_ImmersiveWeapons_Patch.esp* 36 iNeed.esp* 37 IslandFastTravel.esp* 38 Apocalypse - The Spell Package.esp* 39 Real Clouds.esp* 3A Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim.esp* 3B Apocalypse - Ordinator Compatibility Patch.esp* 3C Character Creation Overhaul.esp* 3D iNeed - Dangerous Diseases.esp* 3E WetandCold.esp* 3F WetandCold - Ashes.esp* 40 Fantasy Soundtrack Project.esp* 41 Fantasy Soundtrack Project - Combat.esp* 42 DA-Survival.esp* 43 CCO - Diverse Races And Genders.esp* 44 CCO - Dynamic Skill Progression.esp* 45 CCO - Oblivion Carry Weights.esp* 46 DSerArcheryGameplayOverhaul.esp* 47 STEP Combined PluginHF.esp [Version 2.2.9.1]* 48 Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp [Version 3.1.7]* 49 da_alternate_start_extension.esp* 4A Alternate Start -- New Beginnings.esp* 4B XPMSE.esp* 4C Bashed Patch, 0.esp Literally I went for a practice run, and all my plugins got disabled. fore Posted March 10, 2018 Share Posted March 10, 2018 You have to download the FNIS 32 bit version (optional file). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tejano2828 Posted March 10, 2018 Share Posted March 10, 2018 I for one am happy that we have 2 mod organizers that we can choose from when installing mods.....I tried Mod organizer didn't like it either to complicated. I have not have NMM fail me at all since it's inception and that is with multiple games. I click on a mod, it downloads it, I install it the end. wfandrews Posted March 10, 2018 Share Posted March 10, 2018 I have used both NMM and MO and have been successful using MO for Skyrim but could never get it to work right with FNV or FO3. Because of this I went back to NMM for Skyrim as I thought it silly to use two mod organizers. Having said that I will say that my problems with FNV and FO3 were undoubtedly due to my lack of knowledge of MO and not due to the program itself. I am of the opinion that right now MO is the better program if you have a quantity of mods eg. over 100, simply because of the way it stores mods. I am eagerly awaiting the Beta of Vortex as from what I understand it is a very comprehensive program and can be used with any modded game on Nexus without having such an extensive knowledge of the program that you need with MO. While I do not use MO I feel it is wrong to blame the program itself for your problems as it is your lack of knowledge which I feel is the problem. Do not forget that thousands of people use MO quite successfully and swear by it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Heppai Posted March 11, 2018 Author Share Posted March 11, 2018 (edited) Fore, it was the 32 bit and it fixed it as well as a required update. wfandrews, What you are saying is exactly what i thought to myself before i posted, however its still true. I havent had a successful run with MO yet. I feel robbed because I have watched many hours of videos, guides, and googled many a forum post. Things have gotten better since my heavy fatigue from last night, but they're still broken here and there. EDIT: Prime Example, Im attempting to move overwrite files in my FNIS output. But its not moving, it just stays there in the overwrite folder. To fix it I said, "screw it" and I tried to make a random overwrite folder. I got an error saying that file is busy. This has never happened before. None of this has happened before. Edited March 11, 2018 by Heppai Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Heppai Posted March 11, 2018 Author Share Posted March 11, 2018 Bump for edit, is anyone familiar with the overwrite files not being movable into an output? I try to move them but they stay put. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
wfandrews Posted March 12, 2018 Share Posted March 12, 2018 It has been a long time since I used MO but as far as I can remember you must right click on the files in the overwrite folder to create an esp, you then drag and drop that esp into the relevant file in the left pane of MO. I could be wrong about the details as it has been a few years since I used MO. Anyway, good luck. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Heppai Posted March 14, 2018 Author Share Posted March 14, 2018 Yeah Ive tried that too, but it says the folder is in use by another program. No other program is open. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Pippboss Posted March 15, 2018 Share Posted March 15, 2018 MO can be a bewildering beastie to master. GP's tutorials helped me a lot. You can also add Dirtyweaselmedia and Gopher to the list. All 3 YouTube channels have exceptional content and tutorials explaining the setup and use of MO. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
