Krytern
What are some of your favourite games with good character creation? Other then Bethesda games. I have been trying to find some which aren't 'point and click'.

WastelandAssassin
when you say "good character creation" , are you asking specifically about character creation as in the way the character looks , or are you asking about character progression? If you are looking for good cosmetic creation engines , it's mostly Bethesda and Bioware , at least for the games I can think ofthe Soulsborne series also has a pretty good character creation , and Dragon's Dogma has a pretty decent one as wellother than these , most of the games I can think of , without predefined characters are more like Divinity Original Sin 1 & 2 , though you might consider these closer to being 'point & click' hope this is a decent answer , though if you could clarify what you are looking for , I'll do my best to provide a better answer :)
TheMastersSon
Eve Online includes some nice body shaping tools, I also liked Dragon Age:Inquisition. But character creation is an afterthought in nearly all games. It's either point-and-click selection or no custom options at all. Between Bethesda's in-game functions and what's available otherwise (CS, mods etc), even after 10+ years it's still one of these games' biggest selling points. I'm still waiting to run into its equal or better. Edited March 15, 2018 by TheMastersSon
Guest deleted23079729
The best character creator in my opinion is in BDO ( Black Desert Online ), the game doesn't have the best gameplay of the world but it can be fun, and especially the character creator which is amazing. BlueChronicle
Saints Row series (except the first game, and Gat out of Hell) has a decent character creation, clothing and accessories.another game which is strong on character creation is The Sims series, you can install custom contents (aka mods) to add clothing, make up, accessories, etc, etc...Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, despite you play as CJ, I believe its the only GTA game which you can highly customize him by clothing and body type (Muscular or Fat). no other GTA games can give you the freedom of how you physically change the character's form. BruceBanner2010
I suppose the GTA online part of GTA has a ' reasonable ' character creator but it's a nightmare to work with ( whoever forced that DNA garbage into the character creator rather than just giving you freedom must have been mental ) . Obviously wrestling games have pretty great character creators too .

Oblivionaddicted
Although its options to create a character are limited Jedi Academy offers a very good progression and a great freedom with the powers of the Force. EDIT: Like BlueChronicle wrote GTA San Andreas is another good choice. Even if you always play the same character you have a lot of options to customize Carl. You can make him muscled or fat, change his haircut, give him tatoos, learn new fighting styles and buy tons of clothes with a lot of possible combinations. As you play you improve his skills in some domains like the fireweapons or driving various vehicles.
