Demlockian
Link to modhttp://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=37002#content I have no unofficial mods installed at this time but do have all DLC. I installed the mod by dragging and dropping files into the Data folder per the installation instructions but the mod will not work (this is being done on a completely clean install of NV). If it matters in any way I am using the Steam version. Edited April 14, 2012 by Demlockian
Craigsters
Download Fallout Mod Manager - FOMM and use it to manage your mods and use Fallout New Vegas ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated remember to activate it also make sure the mod doesn't require New Vegas Script Extender (NVSE) some mods require NVSE Edited April 14, 2012 by Craigsters
Demlockian
Still will not work....i installed FOMM and NVSE but the guns just don't appear. I even tried using the player.additem xx000859 1 to auto add the ak47 to double check it. Nothing I am going to do a complete reinstall and try again. After the install should I install FOMM or NVSE first?
Craigsters
It's ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated that makes meshes and textures appear, make sure you have the esp,esm files in the data folder and the texture and mesh folder inside the data folder, the NVSE go outside the data folder and make sure to activate ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated, it makes player made outfits and weapons appear properly in your game!.. ripple
I even tried using the player.additem xx000859 1 to auto add the ak47 to double check it. Nothing I just want to make sure that you know the 'xx' in the console code need to be replaced with the mod index number (which you can see in FOMM to the right of the mod name). Also, with mods that edit the levelists (so that NPCs will spawn with the CF weapons), you need to either start a new game or give it time for NPCs to respawn and vendor inventories to refresh (3 - 4 days) before you can see the changes. Craigsters
@ripple +1 I forgot about sometimes having to start a new game or wait 3 days solution  Edited April 15, 2012 by Craigsters
Demlockian
Okay thanks everyone I finally got the mod to work! Sadly I have a new question though... I just downloaded NMC's large texture pack and it recommends installing 4gb aware...is there a way to confirm that it is working?

You'll need a different version of NVSE for that, it can be found here http://nvse.silverlock.org/beta/fnv4gb_nvse.zip If the game starts using that version of NVSE then I would assume the 4GB thing is working.
